ARC Raiders Blue Gate Keys unlock four groups of rooms: the Communication Tower basement at Pilgrim’s Peak, a Confiscation Room in the underground Security Wing, old cellars and a building in the Village. The keys aren’t interchangeable, even when two destinations are close together.
The room locations stay fixed while most key drops are random. Here are the correct building entrances, which floor to search, and how to avoid confusing normal room keys with the temporary Locked Gate codes.
ARC Raiders Blue Gate Keys: Communication Tower Key: Pilgrim’s Peak basement
The Rare Communication Tower Key takes you to the basement at Pilgrim’s Peak, not the top of an exterior antenna. Enter the Pilgrim’s Peak structure and follow the stairs down to the locked communications room. Inside, server racks, drawers, resource crates and a weapon case can spawn. This is one of the more confusing ARC Raiders Blue Gate Keys because the name suggests climbing the radio tower, while the actual lock sits below ground. If you are looking out over the map from a tower roof, you’ve gone the wrong way.

Confiscation Room Key: Security Wing
The Epic Confiscation Room Key opens a ground-floor room in the Security Wing of the Blue Gate underground, close to the Traffic Tunnel and Headhouse. Follow the underground route into the Security Wing and find the confiscated-goods door rather than searching the surface checkpoint. Lance’s Home to Roost quest asks you to recover a security recording from here. After opening the door, inspect the recording equipment before leaving with normal loot. ARC Raiders Blue Gate Keys are consumed when used, so you don’t want to waste this one on the wrong area.
Cellar Key: two documented doors
The Cellar Key works at two documented cellar entrances. One sits south of Olive Grove, near the Ruined Homestead, tucked against a rocky hillside below a fenced structure. The other is in Trapper’s Glade on the western side of Blue Gate. Both are below-ground entrance doors; neither is the Village Key building. Each copy opens only one of the two cellars. ARC Raiders Blue Gate Keys don’t act as a permanent unlock: if you plan to loot both cellar locations in one raid, bring two copies.
ARC Raiders Blue Gate Keys: Village Key: western edge of the settlement
In the Village, head to the western side and look for a locked building door facing the hillside that slopes south. That’s the Uncommon Village Key room. The exterior orientation is more useful than the village map label alone, because several buildings stand close together. Go along the western edge and watch the door-interaction prompt. There may be a weapon crate and other ordinary containers inside, but no guaranteed loot list. The Village Key won’t open the Trapper’s Glade cellar, even though they’re on the same general side of Blue Gate.
Patrol Car Key: an extra vehicle lock
The Patrol Car Key is worth knowing about, but it isn’t one of the four Blue Gate room keys. It fits the rear compartment of a patrol car, including eligible vehicles on Blue Gate and Riven Tides. Keep it for an actual car rather than using your raid to search the Security Wing. Like ordinary ARC Raiders Blue Gate Keys, it disappears after use. The compartment’s drops are random; you shouldn’t expect a specific blueprint just because you had the correct car key.
Locked Gate codes are different
During the Locked Gate map condition, four temporary security codes come from Ancient Fort, Pilgrim’s Peak, Raider’s Refuge and Reinforced Reception. Use the Code Printers introduced in Patch 1.22.0, then submit each code at the matching Gate Control Room terminal. These are not reusable room keys. They expire when you extract and are not interchangeable with the Blue Gate Communication Tower Key, even though both involve Pilgrim’s Peak. ARC Raiders Blue Gate Keys for permanent rooms work separately from that limited-time puzzle.

ARC Raiders Blue Gate Keys: How to find a key before going to the door
Most permanent ARC Raiders Blue Gate Keys are random scavenging finds. A cabinet on Dam Battlegrounds can produce a key for Blue Gate, so the map printed on the key is the destination, not the required loot location. Some quests award named keys, including Groundbreaking for the Communication Tower and Home to Roost’s Confiscation Room requirement. Put a Rare or Epic key into a Safe Pocket on a compatible Augment when possible, and check you aren’t bringing a code that has already expired.
Choose a useful route and leave time to extract
From western spawns, a Village or Cellar stop is easier than a trip into the underground Security Wing. From the northeast, Pilgrim’s Peak makes sense for the Communication Tower basement. The Confiscation Room is the one requiring the full underground route. ARC Raiders Blue Gate Keys open doors, not extraction points; once the lock is spent, other Raiders may follow you into the room. Mark an active exit before searching the containers and don’t use the last minutes of a raid guessing which locked building matches your item.
