AION 2 Priority Queue: Who Gets Priority and What It Means

AION 2 Priority Queue

AION 2 Priority Queue sounds like a paid skip until you read NC’s actual queue policy. The rule was introduced after the Launch Scale Test as an account-standing measure, and it is separate from Founder’s Pack tiers, cosmetics and the ordinary server-capacity problem.

The important thing for players is that priority does not mean instant access. A full server can still make a priority account wait because both queue types only advance when space becomes available.

Who gets the AION 2 Priority Queue?

NC says members in good standing enter the AION 2 Priority Queue when a server is at capacity. Accounts with disciplinary action, or accounts suspected of violating the Terms of Service, can have that privilege revoked and may instead use the general queue.

NC also calls priority access a privilege rather than a guarantee. That wording matters because it rules out the idea that any account is promised immediate entry whenever a server is full.

Is priority queue a Founder’s Pack benefit?

The published AION 2 Priority Queue policy does not name Standard, Deluxe or Ultimate Founder’s Packs as the eligibility requirement. The rule is described in terms of account standing, so there is no solid basis for presenting the queue as a paid Founder fast lane.

The same caution applies to the game’s separate Membership product. Unless NC explicitly ties a current Membership entitlement to this queue policy, players should not assume the word “members” in the announcement means a subscription purchase.

Does priority mean you skip the queue?

No. AION 2 Priority Queue still waits for server capacity. NC says both queues move as space opens. Priority affects the order in which eligible accounts are handled, not the physical number of players the server can support at that moment.

That is why a busy launch server can still show a wait even when your account is eligible. If the queue number is moving, the service is functioning as a capacity gate rather than failing to authenticate you.

Why NC added the policy

NC announced the AION 2 Priority Queue alongside anti-bot measures after its Launch Scale Test. Direct player-to-player trading was also disabled, with the Market retained as the central trading system. The queue language gives NC a way to remove preferential access from accounts connected to discipline or suspected rule breaking.

That context is more useful than treating priority as a launch perk. The policy sits inside account integrity and service protection, not inside the Founder’s Pack reward table.

What if you are in the general queue?

  • Do not assume buying a Founder’s Pack will change your place, because NC does not list it as the queue requirement.
  • Check for any account notices or disciplinary messages if you expected priority but do not see it.
  • Remember that both queues still move only when server space opens.
  • Consider a recommended server if you are a new player and the wait is more important than the server name.
  • Use official support if the account appears to be restricted incorrectly rather than repeatedly restarting the client.

Can NC remove priority access?

Yes. The AION 2 Priority Queue announcement explicitly says the privilege may be revoked for players with disciplinary action taken against their account or accounts suspected of violating the Terms of Service.

That does not mean every general-queue player has been punished. Server logic and account state can be more complicated than a single label, so use customer support for an account-specific restriction rather than trying to infer one from queue speed alone.

How priority differs from ordinary server choice

AION 2 Priority Queue only matters when the selected server is at capacity. On a server with room, there is no queue to prioritise. That is why moving to a newer or recommended server can be a faster solution for a fresh character than focusing on queue status.

Players joining a guild or established friend group have a stronger reason to wait. In that situation, priority is helpful when available, but community choice can still outweigh a shorter queue elsewhere.

The safest reading of AION 2 Priority Queue is therefore narrow: good-standing accounts can receive priority on a full server, priority is not guaranteed, and it is not an instant or clearly purchasable queue skip. Anything more specific should come from a newer NC policy notice, not from guesswork.

AION 2 Priority Queue only changes who receives preferential ordering when a server is full. It does not reserve permanent capacity, guarantee a short wait or replace the need to choose a less crowded server when immediate access matters more than the server name.

If the server is not at capacity, there is no queue advantage to notice at all. AION 2 Priority Queue matters only when demand is high enough for NC to place players into waiting lines.
