Adopt Me Hauntlet 2: How to Escape, Door Choices and Item Guide

Adopt Me Hauntlet 2

Adopt Me Hauntlet 2 is the rebuilt Halloween hotel minigame introduced on October 9, 2026, with Bolt replacing Patchy as host. The new version adds branching room choices, team-wide item effects and a fresh Journal that reveals more information about the doors as you keep playing.

The main difference in Adopt Me Hauntlet 2 is that your route can split. Different areas carry different risks and rewards, and choosing a different door from your friends can separate the group. If you want a clean escape run, staying together and using room-wide items at the right moment is more useful than rushing through every door as soon as it opens.

To escape Adopt Me Hauntlet 2, keep moving through the hotel while protecting your Red Hearts and making deliberate choices when the route branches. The live minigame now runs through 50 rooms, with later sections becoming more dangerous as ghost pressure and room hazards increase.

  1. Enter Hauntlet 2 and stay with your group when the first paths split.
  2. Use the Journal information you have unlocked to recognise safer or more rewarding door types.
  3. Save Rainbow Wands for rooms where clearing every ghost at once prevents a bad hit.
  4. Treat the Phone as bad information because Bolt always lies when you use it.
  5. Use Keys and Golden Keys on the doors they are meant to open.
  6. Protect Red Hearts with Heart, Golden Heart and Ghost Potions when the run gets harder.
  7. Keep the group on the same branch whenever possible and continue until you escape the final section.

Escaping awards the Legendary Escaped Hauntlet, Too Sticker. Uplift Games lists that sticker as the clear reward for the new version, so it is the main collectible attached directly to finishing the minigame.

Adopt Me Hauntlet 2 door choices explained

Door choices are one of the biggest changes in Adopt Me Hauntlet 2. Some points offer more than one area, and each branch can have different risks and rewards. Choosing a different branch from a friend splits you up, so agree on the same route before anybody walks through.

The Journal becomes more useful over repeated runs because it fills with information about the doors and areas you encounter. You are not expected to know every room type on your first attempt. The more you play, the more information the game gives you to make later choices with less guesswork.

ItemEffect
Rainbow WandClears every ghost in the room
PhoneBolt always lies, so the arrow points the wrong way
KeyUnlocks a safer, richer path
Golden KeyOpens its matching Golden Key door
Heart PotionRestores all missing Red Hearts
Golden Heart PotionAdds one Red Heart but does not refill empty Hearts
Ghost PotionGives one temporary Heart that protects you for a single door

Items now work for everyone in the room, which makes Adopt Me Hauntlet 2 more team-friendly than simply giving one player all the useful information. A Rainbow Wand, for example, clears the ghosts for the whole room rather than only helping the player holding it.

Best Hauntlet 2 items to save

Rainbow Wands and Heart-restoring items become more valuable later in a run when a mistake is harder to recover from. Using a strong item in an easy early room can leave your group with fewer options when several dangerous doors appear back to back.

The Phone is the exception: its purpose is to mislead you. Uplift Games explicitly says Bolt always lies when the Phone is used, so follow the opposite lesson from a normal hint item and avoid treating its arrow as the correct direction.

What happens if your group chooses different doors?

If players choose different areas in Adopt Me Hauntlet 2, the group can be split across separate routes. That can make later rooms harder because fewer players are present to share decisions and item effects.

For a coordinated run, call the route before anyone commits to a door. The game is designed to let groups take different risks, but splitting accidentally is very different from deliberately dividing because you want to explore another branch for Journal information.

What do you get for escaping Adopt Me Hauntlet 2?

The confirmed escape reward is the Legendary Escaped Hauntlet, Too Sticker. The Week 2 update also adds Bolt for 10,000 Candy Corn, but Bolt is a separate adoption purchase rather than the reward for clearing the minigame.

Other Week 2 rewards, including Skelicorn and the Poltergeist Box pets, also sit outside the direct Adopt Me Hauntlet 2 escape reward. Our separate guides cover those unlocks so the hotel run stays clearly separate from the Crypt lever and box odds.

Adopt Me Hauntlet 2 tips for a cleaner run

  • Stay on the same branch as your friends unless you intentionally want to split.
  • Remember that the Phone lies instead of treating it as a normal hint.
  • Save Rainbow Wands for crowded ghost rooms.
  • Use Heart Potions after taking real Red Heart damage rather than wasting them early.
  • Use Golden Heart Potions when you want another Red Heart, not when you need empty Hearts refilled.
  • Keep replaying to expand the Journal and learn more about the door types.

Adopt Me Hauntlet 2 rewards familiarity. The first run is partly about learning the hotel, while later attempts become easier once you know what the items mean and which door information the Journal has already unlocked.
