The Store refresh also introduced a matching Emoji Bundle, two colour variations called Iris Nebula and Pipe Nebula, and an Ultimate Ability VFX. They’re named alongside the main outfit in the patch notes, but the purchase options are worth comparing before spending your Units.

Is the Celestial Soldier Skin Free?

No. Celestial Soldier is listed under New in Store. The Night of Illusions puzzle event awards Gallery Cards, Units, Sprays and other collectibles. It does not award the Winter Soldier Celestial Soldier costume for finishing its five rooms.

The Captain America: The Winter Soldier costume is a different item, obtainable through the Endgame mode’s free rewards. Despite its name, that’s an outfit for Captain America, not a Winter Soldier skin.

Does Celestial Soldier Affect Damage or Abilities?

The Ultimate VFX changes how one of Winter Soldier’s abilities looks, not how much damage it deals. This patch introduces no Winter Soldier buff or ability replacement alongside the costume. Choose the effect for its appearance, not for an advantage in a match.

You can still play Winter Soldier without buying anything. The costume, chromas and visual effects are optional cosmetics for players who want a different look.
