Marvel Rivals October 29 Patch Notes cover the arrival of Night of Illusions, Storm and Iron Man’s Tōkon-inspired outfits, and eight fixes affecting heroes, Times Square and the Store. Version 20261029 launched on 29 October at 09:00 GMT with no scheduled server downtime.
There was no planned maintenance shutdown for this patch. Players still needed the updated game version, but the servers were not scheduled to go offline. The new cosmetics reached the Store the following morning.
Marvel Rivals October 29 Patch Notes: Release Time

The patch went live on Thursday 29 October at 09:00 GMT. The Halloween event started at the same time, while the Store’s new bundles were scheduled for Friday 30 October at 02:00 GMT.
The Marvel Rivals October 29 Patch Notes also set two different deadlines: the Night of Illusions rewards end on 31 December at 09:00 GMT, while Winter Soldier’s Celestial Soldier Bundle leaves the Store on 27 November at 02:00 GMT.
Marvel Rivals October 29 Patch Notes: Night of Illusions
Night of Illusions is a five-room investigation starring Elsa Bloodstone. Solve clues and puzzles to collect limited-time Gallery Cards, Units, Sprays and other rewards. Every room is now available, including the final challenge against Mr. Malignance.
The event runs until 31 December 2026 at 09:00 GMT. All five rooms can already be completed. Our Night of Illusions guide contains the actual clue locations, the Scrapyard code, the ritual clock and the final rifle puzzle, with separate walkthroughs for each room.
Marvel Rivals October 29 Patch Notes: New Skins
The Marvel Rivals October 29 Patch Notes list these Store additions from 30 October at 02:00 GMT:
- Storm: Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls Bundle, plus a separately listed Ultimate Ability VFX item.
- Iron Man: Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls Bundle.
- Winter Soldier: Celestial Soldier Bundle, Celestial Soldier Emoji Bundle, and Iris Nebula/Pipe Nebula Chroma with Ultimate Ability VFX.
Winter Soldier’s Celestial Soldier Bundle has a confirmed end date of 27 November at 02:00 GMT. NetEase does not attach that same deadline to the Tōkon bundles or the other cosmetics in these patch notes. Check the Store for the individual Unit prices.
Our Storm and Iron Man Tōkon skins guide covers their in-game looks and Storm’s Ultimate VFX. The Celestial Soldier guide explains how to find Bucky’s outfit and its two chromas in the Store.
Marvel Rivals October 29 Patch Notes: Hero Fixes
Four heroes receive five fixes. Black Cat accounts for two: a missing costume icon and an Ultimate keybind problem.
- Gorr: Shadow Harvest could send him outside the map when cast immediately after creating a Black Berserker. That movement bug is fixed.
- Rogue: her left arm could clip through the cape of the X-Men ’97 Season 2 costume when walking backwards. The costume model is corrected.
- Black Cat, Fatal Weaver: the overhead icon could disappear during her Binding Ties Team-Up ability with Spider-Man. The display issue is fixed.
- Black Cat, Ultimate: the Q key could still activate the second phase even after players changed the Ultimate keybind. The custom-keybind behaviour is corrected.
- Invisible Woman: using other abilities did not always cancel stealth after Veiled Step. That interaction is corrected.
These are bug fixes rather than damage or cooldown changes. Gorr’s Shadow Harvest fix, for example, stops him from leaving the map after summoning a Black Berserker; it doesn’t change how much damage the ability deals.
Marvel Rivals October 29 Patch Notes: Maps and UI
Three other fixes address the Times Square return button, a Store navigation issue and Moon Knight’s Ankh placement in Blood Hunt:
- Times Square: players who entered a match from the hub and then clicked One More Round could be unable to return there after the next match. The return flow is fixed.
- Store: after completing all Pop & Wins, the secondary navigation bar could slide left when the Store title had no subtitle. That alignment issue is fixed.
- Moon Knight: in Blood Hunt, using an Ankh build without setting any Traits could stop him placing his Ankh. That specific build bug is fixed.
If One More Round has been leaving you unable to return to Times Square, this is the fix to look for. Our Times Square photo-ops guide covers the hub’s existing activities and rewards.
Does Marvel Rivals October 29 Patch Include Balance Changes?
The Marvel Rivals October 29 Patch Notes do not include new hero damage, health or cooldown values. If you’re looking for a Gorr nerf or a new Invisible Woman ability, neither is announced here.
Night of Illusions also runs alongside All Hallows’ Glow, with its separate missions and free Rocket Raccoon outfit. They’re different Halloween events with different rewards.
If you encountered one of these bugs, make sure you’re running version 20261029 and try the same action again. For actual hero buffs and nerfs, see our Season 10.5 balance changes rather than this smaller fixes patch.
