Fortnite Treasure Hunters Ranked reset begins with the new Battle Royale season on 1 November 2026. Battle Royale and Zero Build ranks partially reset when a season ends, so your old Override rank and percentage will not necessarily carry over unchanged.
Reload has its own reset schedule. You can check the next reset in Fortnite’s Ranked menu, along with the dates for other playlists.
Fortnite Treasure Hunters Ranked reset: which modes reset?

| Mode | What happens on November 1? |
|---|---|
| Ranked Battle Royale | Partial rank reset with the new season |
| Ranked Zero Build | Partial rank reset with the new season |
| Ranked Reload | Has an independent reset schedule; check in-game |
These are three separate Ranked ladders. If your Battle Royale badge changes on November 1 but Reload still shows your previous rank, check the schedule for each mode before assuming anything is wrong.
Do you go back to Bronze after a Ranked reset?
Not necessarily. Epic describes new-season resets as partial, not a total wipe that sends every player to Bronze. It hasn’t announced a single new starting tier or fixed percentage deduction for all Treasure Hunters players. Your visible badge and progress can change without your account being reset.
Even if you ended Override at Elite, Champion or Unreal, those old-season standings don’t have to carry over unchanged. The Fortnite Treasure Hunters Ranked reset begins a new season; your placement and eliminations in later matches then affect progress within that season.
Fortnite Treasure Hunters Ranked reset: does Reload change too?
Reload does not automatically reset alongside Battle Royale. Epic says other modes can have different dates, and Reload has its own rank. If your Reload badge remains the same after November 1, check its own schedule.
To check Reload’s next reset, open Fortnite’s Ranked information screen and select Reload Schedule. That gives you the mode-specific date instead of relying on the Battle Pass timer.
How to check the Season Rank Reset screen
Select a Ranked experience in the lobby. Then choose the Ranked icon above your level in the lower-right corner. Epic’s menu includes Ranks, Progression, Quest & Rewards, Season Rank Reset, Battle Royale Schedule and Reload Schedule. Make sure you’re looking at the same mode whose rank you want to check.
If you can’t turn on Ranked, complete the Outlast 500 players Kickstart quest and enable Ranked from mode selection. Our Ranked unlock guide covers getting started.
Fortnite Treasure Hunters Ranked reset: why is your percentage lower?
A new BR or Zero Build season is the first explanation to check. A Fortnite Treasure Hunters Ranked reset can lower the progress displayed compared with Override. After you start competing again, individual match results also matter. Placement and eliminations determine Ranked progression, so percentages don’t remain fixed between matches.
Epic also tracks display problems separately. Its support team says an earlier visual mismatch affecting Battle Royale and Zero Build was resolved, and recommends restarting the game to show the correct rank. At Unreal, completing one additional Ranked match may refresh the leaderboard placement. Investigations into some Reload rank issues have also continued.
If the badge and progress bar disagree, restart Fortnite and check the same playlist again. Our Ranked percentage guide explains the progress bar.
All Fortnite Ranked tiers
The tiers are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond, each split into I, II and III, followed by Elite, Champion and Unreal. Reaching Elite protects you from dropping below Elite through results for the rest of that season.
That protection doesn’t cancel a new-season partial reset. The Fortnite Treasure Hunters Ranked reset still applies to players beginning the new BR and Zero Build season. Our Rank Protection guide explains the separate in-season mechanic.
Do your tournament rankings or account level reset?
Ranked badges are different from tournament Power Rankings. A seasonal BR rank reset does not mean tournament PR is wiped. Our Power Rankings guide and Ranked versus tournament matchmaking explain the difference. Fortnite Arenas also has its own match format, covered in our Arenas Ranked player-count guide.
Your seasonal Battle Pass level also starts again with the new Battle Pass, but your overall career level remains. That’s different from losing owned items. Our Treasure Hunters overview covers the new season, and our v43.00 downtime guide explains the November 1 server schedule.
What to check when you first log in
Open the correct Ranked playlist and read its Season Rank Reset and schedule details. Expect Battle Royale and Zero Build ranks to change with the new season, while Reload needs its own date checked. If the display looks wrong, restart and compare it with Epic’s status updates.
The Fortnite Treasure Hunters Ranked reset is a partial BR and Zero Build reset on November 1, not proof that every Ranked mode resets together or that all players begin at the same tier.
