Feast of the New Moon is Identity V’s Halloween 2026 event, running from October 22 after maintenance until November 4 at 23:59. You can collect Ghost Sandwiches from matches, seven story acts and the Secret Brew minigame, then exchange them for costumes and other Halloween rewards.
There are five parts to the Halloween event: Daily Flavor check-ins, the seven-part story, match rewards, Secret Brew and Custom Dish. Each has its own job. The story and matches build your Ghost Sandwich total, Secret Brew adds a daily supply, and the parfait maker awards a dish for saving your design.
Feast of the New Moon dates and event checklist
The Feast of the New Moon runs until November 4, 2026 at 23:59. Use the Ghost Sandwich shop before it closes: every unspent sandwich becomes two Clues when the event ends. The separate returning Halloween shop stays open for another week, but it uses Spyglasses instead.
Open Daily Flavor for the day’s check-in, then finish any outstanding story chapters. Secret Brew is worth visiting every day for its own currency allowance. Play qualifying matches to add to your Ghost Sandwich total, and save a Ghost Parfait design in Custom Dish to collect its reward.
How to earn Ghost Sandwiches
Story Experience pays 10 Ghost Sandwiches per act, making 70 for all seven. Matches add up to 140 more across the event. The amount awarded after a match depends on its mode and result; you need to meet the minimum completion conditions to receive currency. Unused daily match allowance rolls over.
Secret Brew is the third way to earn Ghost Sandwiches. Clear new stages of its colour-sorting game for up to 10 a day. You can keep playing after reaching that cap, although further rounds won’t add to that day’s currency. The puzzle rewards are separate from the match and story amounts.
All Feast of the New Moon shop rewards
The Feast of the New Moon exchange shop contains Puppeteer’s A-rarity Midnight Gourmand costume, Fool’s Gold’s B-rarity Night Cook costume, the Survivor B-rarity Crescent Elixir accessory, the Pumpkin Party portrait frame and the Expectation and Refuse stickers.
Both costumes have fixed event-currency prices: Midnight Gourmand costs 130 Ghost Sandwiches and Night Cook costs 40. Finishing all seven story acts gives you 70, so Midnight Gourmand needs another 60 from matches or Secret Brew. Buy your priority costume before spending sandwiches on the smaller cosmetics.
Seven story acts and the ending
The Feast of the New Moon story was released over seven days. Completing each act pays 10 Ghost Sandwiches, and finishing the entire storyline unlocks the Feast of the New Moon room music. With every act now available, you can catch up on the complete story in order.
Your dialogue choices shape the story’s ending but don’t change the Ghost Sandwiches or room music. Choose the responses you enjoy and finish the final act for the full reward. There is no need to follow a particular route to secure the cosmetics.
Daily Flavor check-ins and missed days
Daily Flavor uses the shopping receipt as its check-in screen. Rewards include the Secret Recipe portrait. The event added Retro Check-in on October 29, allowing missed daily check-ins to be recovered by spending Inspirations. This is separate from Ghost Sandwich spending, so don’t confuse the two currencies.
The Retro Check-in feature is available from October 29. Open the Daily Flavor receipt to catch up on missed check-ins using Inspirations. That only affects the check-in track: your story chapters, match earnings, Secret Brew and Custom Dish remain separate event activities.
Secret Brew and the Ghost Parfait
In Secret Brew, you pour liquid between cups to sort colours. Select a cup, then select another that has the same colour on top and enough space to receive it. A cup is finished once it contains only one colour; finish every cup to clear the stage. Play through new stages until you’ve collected the day’s available Ghost Sandwiches.
For the Ghost Parfait, choose ingredients, their colours and where they sit in the cup, then save the finished design. Saving awards the Survivor Ghost Parfait dish. You can change the design and claim it again before November 4, so you don’t need a perfect first attempt.
What is different from the Halloween Spyglass shop?
The Feast of the New Moon shop closes November 4 and charges Ghost Sandwiches. The returning Halloween Event Shop runs until November 11 and sells different cosmetics for Spyglasses. The regular Shop also has seasonal items priced in Echoes, Fragments or Clues.
Before November 4, work through all seven acts, take the daily Secret Brew rewards, finish your remaining match earnings and save your parfait. Then exchange the sandwiches you’ve collected for the cosmetics you want. That covers every reward path in the event.
