Dune Awakening Blood Marks are the currency for The Scourge, the Halloween event running from October 23 to November 9, 2026. You earn them by finishing Frida Maltros’s contracts or donating collected blood at a collection station. You then spend the marks on cosmetics, base decorations and other limited-time items in Frida’s event shop.
The good news is that you can use blood collected from ordinary enemies. You don’t have to find infected ones for the donation exchange. First, complete Containment: Vital Equipment and Eyes of the Kirab to unlock Frida’s reward shop.
How to get Dune Awakening Blood Marks
- Speak to Frida Maltros at a Hagga Basin trade post medical tent or at Shaffat’s Clinic in Arrakeen.
- Finish Containment: Vital Equipment at the crashed ornithopter in Eastern Vermillius Gap and deliver the medical supplies as instructed.
- Collect five eyes from infected Kirab for Eyes of the Kirab and hand them in to unlock Frida’s shop.
- Equip a blood extractor and blood bag, then harvest blood from defeated enemies.
- Use the blood purifier or collector at Shaffat’s Clinic to deposit blood and receive Blood Marks.
- Return to Frida’s event shop to spend the marks you have earned.

Dune Awakening Blood Marks: how much blood do you need?

The conversion rate is 1 mark per 1,000 blood deposited. This is repeatable while The Scourge is active. You can fill your blood bag using enemies anywhere suitable, rather than travelling only to event-infected camps. The blood itself doesn’t become a special item after harvesting, so a normal full bag works at the collector.
For Dune Awakening Blood Marks, a bigger bag means fewer trips. The Baron’s Bloodbag holds 30,000 blood, worth 30 marks when full. Infected enemies don’t give extra marks for their blood; their special eyes and tissue are needed for contracts instead.

The eight earlier contract stages pay 1,600 Blood Marks. Another 400 marks is documented in the later Patient Zero finale, bringing the entire quest chain to 2,000 when those stages unlock. Where to spend Dune Awakening Blood Marks
Speak to Frida Maltros after completing the first two contracts. Her Scourge shop offers the Contagion Visor for 400 marks and Derelict Recovery Suit for 500, plus the Hot Zone swatch for 100 and a range of base decorations from 100 to 250 marks. You can also buy the Vial of Pestilent Mien for 100.
Buying one of each currently documented reward, including the consumable vial, costs 2,500 marks. The non-consumable items total 2,400. You can close the gap with repeatable blood donations, rather than relying on contracts alone. The rewards are character-bound, so choose the character on which you want them.
Spend your Dune Awakening Blood Marks before the November 9 deadline. Funcom hasn’t given a specific ending hour, so it’s safer to finish your final shopping before that day. Some older listings say November 2, but the updated event announcement says November 9.
Why can’t I earn Blood Marks or open the shop?
If the shop is locked, finish Eyes of the Kirab and hand the five eyes to Frida. If the purifier doesn’t produce marks, check that you are depositing blood from your actual blood bag, not holding an infected-eye or mutated-tissue quest item. The exchange uses blood volume, while those drops are for specific contracts.
Missing tents, wrecks and event enemies affected some sietches when the event began. Funcom’s October 28 hotfix 1.5.15.3 extends a fix for missing Halloween content to all servers. The fastest reliable approach to Dune Awakening Blood Marks is to collect the one-time contract rewards, then keep your bag filled while fighting normal enemies and donate it whenever you return to Frida. You don’t need to clear extra infected camps solely to earn currency.
