Clash Royale Deck Wizard is a new deck-building feature arriving during Week 2 of the November 2026 King vs. King season. It replaces the old Magic Wand and can create an entire deck from scratch, recommend cards around your favourites or help you fill Duel Deck slots without reusing cards assigned elsewhere.
The rollout starts in Week 2, but some accounts will get it later. Supercell has confirmed what Deck Wizard can do, although the final on-screen steps aren’t available until players actually receive it.
How to Find Clash Royale Deck Wizard

Open Clash Royale and go to the Trophy Road deck-building tab once the Week 2 rollout starts. Supercell says this is where Clash Royale Deck Wizard will be introduced, in place of the existing Magic Wand. Look for the new deck-building option when it becomes available to your account.
If you don’t see it during Week 2, don’t assume your game has broken. Supercell describes the launch as a staged test, with some accounts receiving the tool later. The season announcement does not promise that everyone will have access on November 9, even though that is the start of Week 2’s other major events.
There is no confirmed Shop purchase, Crown Token price or in-game challenge required to unlock Clash Royale Deck Wizard. The reason a player may not see it at first is the gradual release, rather than an announced progression requirement.
How to Build a Deck From Scratch
The first confirmed function of Clash Royale Deck Wizard is building a completely new deck. Instead of selecting every card manually and trying to balance them yourself, you can ask the new feature to generate deck recommendations.
You’ll still want to check whether the suggested deck suits your Arena and the cards you’ve upgraded. Once it appears, review the recommended cards and make sure you can play them at the levels available to you. Check the deck’s average Elixir, its answers to air troops, its main tower-damage card and whether its spells can handle the swarms you’re likely to face.
The exact on-screen selection flow is still subject to the staged rollout. Don’t look for a specific button or named filter that Supercell hasn’t confirmed in advance. The official description establishes the feature’s purpose and location, not every step of its final interface.
How to Build Around Your Favourite Cards
Another option offered by Clash Royale Deck Wizard is creating a deck around the cards you already like. This can help if you want to keep a favourite win condition while replacing several supporting cards, rather than starting with a random list.
For example, someone who prefers a building-targeting card such as Giant might want support options that make a slower push worthwhile. A player who likes a fast win condition will probably want to check whether the suggestions fit a lower-Elixir playstyle. These are examples of how to evaluate a recommendation, not confirmed preset buttons in the new tool.
When reviewing a generated deck, ask whether it has a reliable way to defend against different unit types. Try it in a low-pressure match before using it for an important competitive push. Clash Royale Deck Wizard can make deck creation quicker, but it cannot guarantee victories against every opponent.
How Deck Wizard Works for Duel Decks
Clash Royale Deck Wizard also has a special role when you are building a Duel Deck. Supercell says it looks at cards in your Collection that have not yet been used in the other decks you have assembled, and recommends from those unused options.
That is different from blindly copying the same popular eight cards into multiple decks. The restriction is useful when the Duel format requires you to put together several sets without relying on the same cards each time. The recommendations are intended to account for that need.
If you are struggling to fill a final Duel Deck, check which strong cards are already assigned elsewhere. The tool’s use of unused Collection cards could save time compared with manually checking every previous deck for duplicates. The recommendations don’t unlock or upgrade cards on your account.
Clash Royale Deck Wizard vs. Magic Wand
| Feature | What has been confirmed |
|---|---|
| Magic Wand | The older deck helper is being replaced |
| Deck Wizard | Can build a new deck from scratch |
| Favourite cards | Can create a deck around your chosen favourites |
| Duel Decks | Uses Collection cards not assigned to your other decks |
| Release | Week 2 test rollout, expanding to more players later |
The biggest promised difference is how much of the deck Clash Royale Deck Wizard can build around your needs, especially in Duels. Supercell has not published a complete technical comparison with Magic Wand or a claim that the new algorithm guarantees stronger decks. Treat the listed capabilities as the confirmed improvements.
Why Don’t I Have Deck Wizard Yet?
If Clash Royale Deck Wizard is missing, first check whether the November Week 2 rollout has started. As of October 28, the feature has been announced but has not reached its planned launch week. Once the rollout begins, check the Trophy Road deck-building tab rather than looking in the Shop or the Royal Market.
Because this is a test, availability may differ between accounts even during the same week. Updating Clash Royale to the latest app version is a reasonable troubleshooting step, but it cannot override server-side rollout timing. There is no announced setting or code to force early access.
Supercell has not provided a fixed date for all accounts to receive the tool. If yours doesn’t appear at first, keep an eye on the in-game news and later official rollout updates.
Is Deck Wizard Free or Paid?
The October 27 notes do not specify a purchase or paid access requirement for Clash Royale Deck Wizard. They describe it as a replacement for Magic Wand inside deck building, with a limited test rollout. That means there is currently no confirmed Crown Token, Gem or real-money price to list.
Do not confuse the feature with November’s Royal Market, which is a separate shop-like event that uses Crown Tokens. Deck Wizard helps compose decks, while the Royal Market exchanges tokens for items and cosmetics.
The main reason to revisit Clash Royale Deck Wizard after Week 2 will be to verify the exact user interface and availability once players can use it. The core build-from-scratch, favourites and Duel Deck capabilities are already confirmed by Supercell.
