Clash Royale Merge Tactics November Changes started on October 27, 2026, with a new troop rotation, fresh league modifiers, updated Quest Orb rewards and five Elixir per round again. Super Hog Rider and Super Dark Prince are returning, and players have more shared copies available when building two- and three-Elixir troops.

The November rotation is part of Season 11, so your Starsteel progress stays in place. If you have been wondering why old team compositions feel different or which modifiers are available in your league, the official November list explains the changes.

Two Boss Supers rotate out, making room for Super Hog Rider and Super Dark Prince. Their return brings the Rider trait back into the active pool. This opens more Rider-based team combinations without requiring players to restart their Starsteel progress.

There is a catch for returning Dark Prince players. The October 27 balance patch also reduced Super Dark Prince’s damage from 100 to 75. He is in the November rotation, but you should not expect his older damage output. The rest of the troop pool is shown in Supercell’s official November image above.

Quest Orb 1, 2 and 3 rewards

The Clash Royale Merge Tactics November Changes change the reward selection for Quest 1 and Quest 2 Orbs. Quest 3 is unchanged. The word ‘or’ matters: an Orb gives the equipment option or a starred troop rather than guaranteeing both.

OrbGuaranteed rewardRandom reward
Quest 13 ElixirEquipment or 2-star, 2-Elixir troop
Quest 26 ElixirEquipment or 2-star, 3-Elixir troop
Quest 3+1 team size3-star troop costing 4 or 5 Elixir

Quest 1 can contain Maiden’s Shield, Prince’s Lance, Fisherman’s Hook, Valkyrie’s Axe, Lumberjack’s Jar, Battle Healer’s Blessing, P.E.K.K.A’s Sword and Archer Queen’s Cape. Quest 2’s equipment options include Assassin Blade, Juggernaut Armor, Ranger Crossbow, Superstar Ring, Controller Enchantment, Dragon Scale, Mage Wand, Thrower Telescope, Undead Drum, Goblin Loot, Boss Mask, Rider Emblem, Legendary Axe and Legendary Shield.

Legendary Lance has been removed from Quest 2. If you were trying to get that particular item from an Orb, this month’s reward pool will not provide it.

All Clash Royale Merge Tactics November Changes to League Modifiers

The Clash Royale Merge Tactics November Changes give every listed league two modifiers. Each modifier changes the rules of the battle, so find your league below instead of following an older October list.

Modifiers are tied to leagues. For example, Diamond lists Trait Gift and Trait Dummy, while Gold IV lists Coaching and Echo Bench. You cannot assume a modifier from another league will appear in your next game.

Why is Elixir back to five per round?

The Clash Royale Merge Tactics November Changes reverse a previous reduction that had left players earning just four Elixir per round. Supercell acknowledged that four slowed the early game too much, so income returns to five. This gives you an extra Elixir each round to spend on developing your board and preparing combinations.

The pool of shared copies for two- and three-Elixir troops also increases from four to eight. Because Supers share that pool, finding enough copies to reach the highest star levels was difficult. Doubling it is intended to make three- and four-star troops easier to build, although random shop offerings still matter.

November bug fixes

The Clash Royale Merge Tactics November Changes also resolve several bugs. Goblin Cage’s Kidnap no longer activates after Mage Wand transforms the cage into a harmless rabbit. Assets should no longer disappear when two cages pull each other. Rider troops released from Goblin Cage should not take unintended damage.

Dark Prince’s jump duration and targeting received fixes. Knight’s taunt should no longer disable Giant Skeleton’s bomb or Goblin Demolisher’s death explosion. Inferno Tower should no longer heal while damaging an Elixir Collector. The You’re Mine modifier now correctly gives an Orb when Goblin Cage is defeated.

When do the changes go live?

The Clash Royale Merge Tactics November Changes began October 27, ahead of the November King vs. King season. The month brings its own troop pool and modifiers, but there is no November Starsteel reset. Also check the separate October 27 balance update for nerfs to Boss, Super Mega Knight and Superstar Ring and buffs to Tomb Queen and Undead.

For your next match, the Clash Royale Merge Tactics November Changes mean you can spend five Elixir per round, look for more low-cost troop copies and plan around the modifiers listed for your league. Those are live system changes rather than future season promises.
