Jujutsu Zero Soul Ring is part of the October 24, 2026 Halloween update in Studio Resonance’s Jujutsu: Zero. This guide covers the real unlock conditions and combat mechanics for the new boss-soul summoning passive. The event’s items can overlap in a raid reward pool, but they still have separate equip requirements.
Start by entering the Halloween map from the teleport NPC at Spawn. Several rewards are random raid drops, not guaranteed shop purchases. Check the current technique and passive screens after obtaining an item and make sure you are not confusing Halloween currency called Lost Souls with the souls claimed by a passive.

Jujutsu Zero Soul Ring: How to obtain Soul Ring
Soul Ring is the new passive item that works with Idle Transfiguration. Current Halloween Spooky Raid reward tables include a chance of dropping it. Travel via the Halloween teleport NPC at Spawn, then enter the Spooky Raid in the event area. The raid reportedly costs 150 Spooky Candy to host, with 50 returned upon success and other rewards such as EXP and crates. There is no confirmed guaranteed drop percentage. If you cannot defeat the boss yourself, join a group instead of repeatedly failing the encounter.
Jujutsu Zero Soul Ring: Idle Transfiguration requirement
You need Idle Transfiguration equipped for the Soul Ring passive to work. Idle Transfiguration is the Disaster Grade technique added in the same update, with four launch moves and three skill trees. If you get the ring first, keep it and pursue the technique from the reported raid reward pool. The third technique tree adds an extra summon slot, which is separate from obtaining the ring. Neither the ring nor the upgrade automatically grants you a claimed boss soul.
Jujutsu Zero Soul Ring: 10% claim chance after a boss kill
With Soul Ring active and the required technique equipped, defeating a boss NPC has a 10% chance of claiming that boss’s soul. The probability applies to qualifying defeats: several failed attempts in a row are possible. The developer announcement does not list every named eligible boss, and it does not establish whether assists count. Check the in-game soul collection interface before assuming a particular raid encounter contributes to this passive.
Jujutsu Zero Soul Ring: Summoning captured boss souls
After a successful claim, the boss soul can be summoned to fight alongside you. The summon inherits some of your ATK, although the exact share of ATK was not confirmed in the launch information. Open the ring’s in-game controls to select a claimed soul and summon it while you have an available slot. Tree 3 of Idle Transfiguration gives another slot and a distinct 75% Halloween damage bonus, which is tied to event-specific content rather than every zone.
Jujutsu Zero Soul Ring: Soul Bag Lost Souls and Transfigured Souls
Lost Souls are event drops from Halloween enemies and count toward Soul Bag milestones. Transfigured Souls come from Transfigured Civilians and are a quest item handed to Masked Stranger during Curtain Night. Neither type can simply be converted into a Soul Ring boss summon. A boss soul is claimed only through the ring’s passive when you defeat an eligible boss NPC. This distinction is essential if you are choosing between Halloween mini-boss farming and actual boss hunting.
Jujutsu Zero Soul Ring: How to use Soul Ring effectively
Once you own Soul Ring and Idle Transfiguration, equip both before farming boss NPCs. Aim for opponents that you can defeat consistently and check the ring’s collection after each successful claim. The claim is a chance, not a guarantee after ten kills. If summoning fails, inspect whether you actually own a boss soul, whether you have a free summon slot and whether your active technique matches the requirement. Improving your ATK can also improve the summoned ally because the summon inherits part of that stat.
