Jujutsu Zero Boss Souls arrived as part of the October 24, 2026 Halloween update to Jujutsu: Zero. The new content provides a boss-soul summoning system with specific requirements and rewards. This guide covers how the system works and what is confirmed at launch.
First make sure you’re playing Studio Resonance’s Jujutsu: Zero, because other Roblox Jujutsu games have unrelated equipment, currencies and events. Follow the Halloween teleport NPC at Spawn for event rewards and raids, and read the live menu before spending resources on an item with a random drop.

Jujutsu Zero Boss Souls: Jujutsu Zero Boss Souls: What boss souls actually are
Boss souls are claimed by the Soul Ring passive, introduced with Idle Transfiguration during the October 24 Halloween update. They turn defeated bosses into summonable allies. These aren’t the Lost Souls collected for the Halloween Soul Bag or the Transfigured Souls exchanged with Masked Stranger during Curtain Night. The similar names can send you after the wrong resource, so check which item your goal requires before starting to farm.
Jujutsu Zero Boss Souls: Which bosses have claimable souls?
The released description says Soul Ring gives a chance to claim a soul when you defeat a ‘boss NPC’. It does not provide a verified named list showing which individual bosses have collectible souls. The available announcement also does not assign separate soul odds to Sukuna, Toji, Jogo, Mahito or other named bosses. A comprehensive list of exact boss-by-boss drops would therefore be speculative. Open the game’s soul collection interface and identify an eligible target rather than assuming that every overworld or raid boss must count. Keep the broader Halloween raids separate from ordinary boss NPC encounters.
Jujutsu Zero Boss Souls: Claim chance and prerequisites
You first need Idle Transfiguration equipped with Soul Ring active. Defeat a qualifying boss NPC for the announced 10% chance to claim its soul. That percentage describes the chance on a qualifying defeat, not a guaranteed reward after ten kills. A few unlucky fights are possible even when your loadout works. The launch notes do not establish whether assists qualify for a claim, so a complete kill with your own active passive is a more dependable test than relying on another player’s finishing blow.
Jujutsu Zero Boss Souls: Summoning bosses and ATK scaling
Once claimed, a boss soul can be summoned as an ally to fight beside you. Its strength inherits part of the summoner’s ATK, but the exact inheritance coefficient has not been published in the current release summary. A stronger character should therefore have a stronger summon without the guide pretending to know an exact scaling formula. Idle Transfiguration’s third tree adds one Soul Ring summon slot, which increases the capacity to use collected allies. The same tree offers a 75% Halloween damage bonus that is specific to event content.
Jujutsu Zero Boss Souls: Lost Souls and Transfigured Souls are different
Lost Souls come from Halloween-related enemies and build toward character bonuses through the Soul Bag NPC. Transfigured Souls come from Transfigured Civilians and form an item used by Masked Stranger in the Halloween questline. Cursed Embers come from Cursed Pumpkins and are needed for another Masked Stranger quest. None of these items is itself a summoned boss soul. Winning a boss soul requires the ring mechanic, and buying event shop items using Spooky Candy is another separate progression track.
Jujutsu Zero Boss Souls: How to farm and troubleshoot claims
Choose a boss NPC you can repeatedly defeat and confirm its eligibility in the game’s collection information. Check for respawn timers and avoid spending an entire session waiting on one defeated target if another is accessible. If claims fail, verify Idle Transfiguration, Soul Ring and your summon slots before assuming the game is bugged. A 10% claim rate can naturally produce several failures in a row. For a ring you have not yet obtained, the Halloween Spooky Raid is a reported reward source; for claimed boss souls, focus on eligible boss defeats. The raid and the boss-soul passive are related but not the same reward roll.
