Adopt Me Where Bear Minigame returns for Halloween 2026 with Bear, Hunter and Survivor roles. Bears chase Survivors, Hunters stop Bears using Netzookas, and Survivors try to stay alive while picking up Candy Corn. The returning Lab entrance is inside the Haunted Manor, not at the Nursery location shown in older videos.
If you’ve loaded into a round and aren’t sure what to do, your assigned role determines everything. You may even change roles when a Hunter drops their weapon. Here’s how to enter, play each side and make the most of the returning activity.
Where to find the Adopt Me Where Bear Minigame
Use the Halloween signpost to travel to the Haunted Manor. Walk into Ghost Gallery and take the open doorway on your left into Count Slothula’s red room. Look for the pink-lit arched door between two orange bear-warning signs. Walk into it and select Go! to join the Lab’s separate server. If a round is underway, you’ll spectate until the next one. Rounds start at two minutes but can finish sooner. Uplift Games confirms the Lab moved inside the Manor for October 23, 2026, the third Halloween appearance of the mode.
Older Where Bear? walkthroughs may point to a Lab outside the Nursery. That was an earlier event location, so follow the current Manor entrance instead. You don’t have to buy Count Slothula to join the Adopt Me Where Bear Minigame; the 99-Robux pet is a separate Halloween addition.

Adopt Me Where Bear Minigame: playing Bear
As Bear, touch Survivors to capture them, but keep away from Hunters holding Netzookas. Look for players away from the group and keep track of where the Hunters are standing. A Survivor might lead you towards a Hunter deliberately, so a chase that looks easy can quickly turn against you.
Bears also have a pink bear-face button that makes their avatar roar “AROOOOOO” before going on cooldown. Independent testing recorded the roar but could not confirm a special effect on opponents, so focus on getting close enough to touch a Survivor.
Hunter role: how the Netzooka works
In the Adopt Me Where Bear Minigame, Hunters protect Survivors by capturing Bears with a Netzooka. Tap the weapon control, then use the on-screen aim/fire button. Independent gameplay testing showed a counter with two nets that decreases when a shot is fired. Watch for Bears approaching and keep yourself available to help the players trying to escape. If you wander too far from the group, Survivors may have nobody to run towards when a Bear starts chasing them.
The Adopt Me Where Bear Minigame also lets a Bear take down a Hunter. When that happens, the Hunter drops their Netzooka. A Survivor can pick it up and become a new Hunter. That handover is important: the group may still be able to defend itself even when its original Hunter is out.

Adopt Me Where Bear Minigame: surviving a round
Survivors need to stay away from Bears, lead any pursuing Bear towards a Hunter and survive. Candy Corn is scattered around the map, so collect it as you move, but don’t run into danger for a small pickup. Keeping an escape route open is more useful than collecting everything in one corner.
In the Adopt Me Where Bear Minigame, spotting a fallen Netzooka can give you a second job. Pick it up when safe and you’ll become a Hunter. If another Survivor is being chased, that weapon lets you help defend them. Pay attention to the players around you instead of treating this only as a scavenger hunt.
Can you choose your role?
Before each Adopt Me Where Bear Minigame round, a sign spins through Bear, Hunter and Survivor. Your starting role is assigned when the two-minute timer begins. The official announcement describes all three roles but doesn’t give an option for manually selecting one or published odds of being Bear versus Hunter. Play the objective for whichever role appears on your screen. Your role can change mid-round when a Survivor picks up a dropped Netzooka.
Bears do the chasing, Hunters protect the group, and Survivors keep moving while collecting Candy Corn. If you’re assigned Hunter after playing Survivor for several rounds, start looking for Bears immediately rather than following your usual collection route.
Candy Corn rewards and leaving the minigame
Uplift Games explicitly confirms that you can pick up Candy Corn while avoiding or hunting other players. Uplift Games doesn’t publish a payout formula. In independent October 25 match testing, Survivors earned around 10 Candy Corn per second survived, plus five per pickup, while Bears earned 250 for each Survivor captured, plus five per pickup. A full 120-second Survivor round paid roughly 1,205–1,250 Candy Corn. These are observed results, not a developer-guaranteed rate; the end-of-round card shows what you personally earned.

To leave the Adopt Me Where Bear Minigame, select Exit Minigame at the bottom left. If you try to quit an active round, the game warns that you’ll earn nothing from that round. Wait for the results screen and your Candy Corn payment before returning to Count Slothula’s room.
