Grow a Garden Full Moon weather returns in the October 24 Ghoul Garden Part 2 update. This Halloween weather gives eligible crops a chance to gain Bloodlit, a mutation with a valuable selling-price boost. You can watch for it at the top of each hour, but Full Moon is not guaranteed on every hourly cycle. Its partner in the rotation is Bat Attack.

The new timing is more useful than chasing rumours about ordinary night cycles. A good garden can be ready for whichever event arrives, with Halloween fruit left growing when the clock reaches the hour. Here’s how the schedule works, what Bloodlit does and what you can prepare before the weather changes.

Grow a Garden Full Moon schedule: how often does it happen?

The October 24 patch notes place Grow a Garden Full Moon in an hourly Halloween weather rotation. At the start of each hour, either Full Moon or Bat Attack can occur. The developer does not specify a 50/50 chance or a fixed Full Moon timetable, so there is no confirmed list of guaranteed Full Moon hours.

Look around :00 in your local time zone, whether that is 10 AM, 11 AM or midnight. If you play in Britain, the clocks moved back on Sunday, October 25, but the weather still follows the in-game whole-hour rotation. You do not need to wait for the old Blood Moon schedule.

Keep seasonal crops growing in the Ghoul Garden. See our Ghoul Garden guide to find the plot, and use Candy Corn farming to earn currency between weather events.

What Full Moon actually changes

During Grow a Garden Full Moon, the sky turns orange with a visible full moon. More importantly, the event increases the chance of eligible Halloween fruit getting the Bloodlit mutation. It is not guaranteed that every plant will be affected. No reliable developer figure establishes exactly how many fruits change on each event.

Bloodlit is commonly listed at a four-times selling-value multiplier. For example, an unmutated 10,000-Sheckle fruit with the same weight and other properties could have a nominal 40,000-Sheckle value with Bloodlit. The actual sale depends on crop weight, Gold or Rainbow growth variations, and any other valid mutations.

Halloween weather Fruit mutation Common multiplier
Full Moon Bloodlit 4x
Bat Attack Vamp 3x

If you’re comparing Grow a Garden Full Moon with Bat Attack, Bloodlit has the higher listed multiplier. That is not the same as saying Full Moon mutates more fruit. Neither event has an independently verified per-fruit mutation rate in the new Part 2 announcement.

Full Moon, Blood Moon and Moonlit are different

Do not confuse Grow a Garden Full Moon with the older Blood Moon event. Both have been associated with Bloodlit, but the regular Blood Moon follows a different weather cycle. The new Halloween Full Moon shares a top-of-the-hour rotation with Bat Attack. A Blood Moon timer from an old farming guide will not predict the next Full Moon.

Moonlit is a different mutation, associated with normal night weather and commonly shown at 2×. Check the actual fruit tag before selling: Moonlit and Bloodlit aren’t interchangeable, and an old Blood Moon timer doesn’t predict the 2026 Full Moon.

How to prepare for Grow a Garden Full Moon

Keep worthwhile Halloween fruit on plants as the next hour approaches. If you harvest and sell everything moments before the weather starts, you’ll have fewer crops available to pick up the effect. Staggering your planting and harvesting lets the garden continue generating resources while leaving good fruit ready for the weather.

Prioritize fruit that already sells well and can be harvested repeatedly. Check the crop’s value after a mutation appears, but don’t assume a big screenshot showing several modifiers is the ordinary fruit price. The value of a 4x mutation is easier to judge by comparing fruits of similar weight and the same growth variation.

Keep earning Candy Corn from ordinary harvests while saving a few valuable fruits for Full Moon. If you are also collecting seed packs, the Black Cat quest checklist shows which fruit weights to reserve.

Does Witch’s Brew summon Full Moon?

Ghoul Garden Part 2 schedules Full Moon and Bat Attack as hourly weather events. Older descriptions mention Witch’s Brew triggering special weather, but the October 24 patch notes don’t establish that filling the cauldron guarantees Full Moon. Plan around the whole-hour rotation, and use spare harvests for the cauldron’s separate rewards.

Between weather rolls, harvest spare Halloween crops for Candy Corn and Witch’s Brew. Leave valuable fruit growing for a chance at Bloodlit, then inspect its mutation tags and actual selling value after the weather ends.

Why your crops may not turn Bloodlit

Seeing Grow a Garden Full Moon does not mean every fruit gets a visible change. The weather offers a chance-based mutation, not a promised number of affected crops. Inspect fruit details for Bloodlit after the event. If none has changed, it may simply be an unlucky hourly roll.

If the event weather is missing, check whether Ghoul Garden Part 2 is active in your server and rejoin an updated instance if needed. If Full Moon appears but no fruit changes, the mutation may simply have missed. Keep eligible crops growing for another hourly opportunity.

When does the Part 2 weather finish?

The official listing places Ghoul Garden Part 2 between October 24 at 20:30 UTC and October 31 at 20:00 UTC. For the UK, that’s 9:30 PM BST on October 24 and 8 PM GMT on October 31, following the clocks changing on October 25. The next Roblox update is scheduled, but the length of the Grow a Garden Full Moon rotation beyond Part 2 has not been confirmed.

For the best chance of making Grow a Garden Full Moon worthwhile, watch each whole hour, keep Halloween fruit available and inspect what the weather actually changed. If Bat Attack arrives instead, your garden can still benefit from its Vamp mutation. Neither requires purchasing a weather guarantee.
