Grow a Garden Trick or Treating is the new Halloween house activity added to Ghoul Garden Part 2 on October 24, 2026. Knock on the spooky door, pay Candy Corn and see whether you get a random treat or a jumpscare trick. The first attempt costs 10 Candy Corn, with a higher charge for subsequent knocks.

The eight-hour timer controls the knock price, not whether the door can be used. The cost of knocking resets to its starting price every eight hours; it is not an eight-hour lockout between attempts. You can knock again at a higher price, or save your Candy Corn for plants, pets and other seasonal rewards while waiting for the next reset.

Where to find the house

Grow a Garden Trick or Treating

Grow a Garden Trick or Treating happens at the new spooky house in Ghoul Garden Part 2. It was introduced on October 24, 2026. Enter Grow a Garden normally on Roblox, find the seasonal Halloween area and look for the decorated house. Interact with its door, rather than the Sinister Sales counter, to start the new door-knocking activity. If the house is missing, your server may still be running an earlier build; rejoining a fresh one is the first thing to try.

How many Candy Corn does it cost?

Your first Grow a Garden Trick or Treating attempt costs 10 Candy Corn. The next attempt gets more expensive, and the cost rises as you continue knocking within the same price cycle. The developer’s patch announcement establishes the opening price and rising cost, but does not provide a reliable step-by-step price ladder. The live interaction prompt is therefore the place to check exactly how much the next knock will consume.

Trick and treat outcomes

Each Grow a Garden Trick or Treating knock can yield either a treat with a random spooky reward or a trick with the familiar jumpscare. The Part 2 notes mention new items, plants, pets and cosmetics in the update, but do not publish a complete house-specific reward table or individual drop odds. Treats are not guaranteed each time. If you want one specific item, compare your options with the Halloween Market before spending repeatedly.

How the eight-hour cooldown works

The eight-hour cooldown resets the knock price. The door’s charge rises with repeated knocks, and resets to the opening 10 Candy Corn once the eight-hour cycle ends. You do not have to wait eight hours after every single knock. It is possible to make multiple attempts while the cost is increasing, as long as you have enough Candy Corn for the currently displayed amount.

Best way to manage the reset

A cheaper routine is to knock once near the start of the price cycle, check the next quote and stop if the following charge is too high. You can spend the rest of that cycle growing Halloween plants, selling them, and completing Black Cat deliveries. Return when the price has reset rather than treating the new house as your entire event progression. This is a budgeting strategy, not a guarantee of a better reward roll.

The house versus Sinister Sales

Grow a Garden Trick or Treating at the house is separate from the Sinister Sales Trick or Treat gamble. Sinister Sales buys your qualifying Halloween plants for Candy Corn and offers a riskier double-or-nothing option tied to sales. The house instead charges Candy Corn upfront for a random reward or a jumpscare. They share Halloween wording, but the inputs and outcomes differ. Check which NPC or object you’re interacting with before committing valuable resources.

How to earn more Candy Corn

To fund Grow a Garden Trick or Treating, plant Halloween seeds in the Ghoul Garden and sell suitable harvested crops at Sinister Sales. Candy Corn Carrots are a cheap starting option; Spider Shrubs are another early crop. Save the fruit your next Black Cat request needs, then sell other harvests. The Witches Brew cauldron can also award Candy Corn to contributors who fill it with eligible fruit, providing another activity while the door is expensive.

Witches Brew and Halloween mutations

You can build a Grow a Garden Trick or Treating budget by contributing Halloween fruit, or other fruit with qualifying spooky mutations, to the Witches Brew cauldron. Community guides report a short two-minute interval between completed fills, although rewards and rankings are best checked in the live event. Meanwhile Bat Attack and Full Moon weather rotate through Ghoul Garden at the top of an hour, giving planted crops chances at event mutations. They do not mean every fruit will mutate.

Black Cat rewards or random house rewards?

It is worth keeping a few good harvests outside your Grow a Garden Trick or Treating budget. The Black Cat asks for groups of three Halloween fruits, with minimum weights and later Haunted mutations. Completing sets grants Haunted Seed Packs; the final set is associated with an Exotic Haunted Seed Pack. A known plant delivery is a different reward strategy from gambling on the house, so keep requested crops instead of selling everything to afford extra knocks.

Avoid confusing the Haunted Trading Booth

The Part 2 patch also lists a Haunted Trading Booth Skin. That is a cosmetic for a trading booth, not a separate place to conduct Grow a Garden Trick or Treating. The patch does not give a reliable unlock price or prove that the house awards the skin. Avoid using old Halloween item tables to predict a particular drop. The live rewards interface and your cosmetic inventory are the useful checks for booth skins.

When does Part 2 end?

The Roblox event listing schedules the Grow a Garden Trick or Treating Ghoul Garden Part 2 window from October 24 at 20:30 UTC to October 31 at 20:00 UTC. In Britain, the final time is 8:00 PM GMT, because the clocks went back on October 25. This is the announced Part 2 window; separate item timers could end earlier. Aim to use accumulated Candy Corn before the event’s final scheduled session.

Problems with the door

If Grow a Garden Trick or Treating is not working, first check that you are at the house in Ghoul Garden, not the normal plot or the Sinister Sales NPC. Confirm the live price and your Candy Corn balance. A higher-than-expected quote may simply mean your eight-hour reset has not occurred. If the building is missing, reconnect to refresh the server. Previous Grow a Garden systems have their own guides: Fairy Event, Fairy Points, Wishing Well, Glimmering Mutation, Fairy Chest. They are not part of the October 24 house reward table.
