99 Nights in the Forest Fancy Dressed class is the seasonal class sold by Happy during Halloween 2026 for 30 Candy. It increases costume-piece drops, improves your chances of receiving a Treat at a house and unlocks extra Candy as you level up. That makes it interesting if you plan to spend nights knocking on doors and saving for Halloween rewards.
Happy’s shop calls it Fancy Dressed Clothes, but you’re actually buying a class, not an outfit. You still need to find costume pieces to visit Halloween houses. For players planning several nights of Halloween farming, the class can be worth buying early.
How to unlock the 99 Nights in the Forest Fancy Dressed class

Return to the lobby and speak to Happy. Open his Halloween event shop and find Fancy Dressed Clothes for 30 Candy. Buy it, open the class selector and equip Fancy Dressed before starting another run. The 99 Nights in the Forest Fancy Dressed class doesn’t automatically equip a four-piece costume.
To earn that Candy, open Costume Chests or get costume pieces from seasonal drops and locate decorated Halloween houses before nightfall. Knock after dark wearing a matching four-piece outfit and a successful visit pays eight Candy before extra bonuses. Four successful eight-Candy visits earn 32 Candy, enough to afford the class. Our house guide covers the different residents. In the 2026 event, bring a Halloween Candle to the decorated house’s entrance to turn on its lights before returning to knock after dark.
Fancy Dressed levels and perks
The 99 Nights in the Forest Fancy Dressed class has three perks in order: extra costume drops, better Treat odds and bonus Candy per knock. Two current guides label them Levels 0, 1 and 2, but another class list uses Levels 1, 2 and 3. Check the numbering on your class card; the perk order agrees.
| Level | Perk | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| First (0 or 1) | Higher costume-piece drop rate | Find replacement outfits |
| Second (1 or 2) | Higher chance of receiving a Treat | Reduce failed visits |
| Third (2 or 3) | Extra Candy per knock | Shop farming and the 13-Candy badge |
| Talent at 100 | Additional random-class perk reported in 2026 guides | Advanced progression |
Current 2026 guides agree on two progression goals for the final Candy perk: earn 50 Candy through trick-or-treating and find and store 40 costume pieces. Buying the 99 Nights in the Forest Fancy Dressed class doesn’t give you that extra Candy immediately. Check your live class card for the precise remaining counters.
How to level the 99 Nights in the Forest Fancy Dressed class quickly
Start by gathering outfits during daylight. Costume boxes, points of interest and Halloween enemies are worth checking while you’re scouting the map for decorated houses. Build a Costume Closet near camp, sort the pieces by theme and save complete matching sets for the evening, when you can actually use them.
Pirate, Lobster, Astronaut, Dinosaur, Mummy and Werewolf are the six documented costume themes. Every full set has four parts and gives a stronger ordinary Candy payout than mixing random parts. Check our costumes walkthrough if you have plenty of pieces but never seem to finish a full outfit.
If you’re levelling the 99 Nights in the Forest Fancy Dressed class, prepare the houses you plan to visit before dusk. Try to pick a route through two or three houses close together. If they’re scattered across your map, spending the entire night running between them will slow your progress, whatever class you’re using. Halloween Candles can appear in chests and Cultist drops. Use one at a decorated house during daylight to light it, then return after dark to knock. Check our Halloween Candles guide for farming routes.
Is the 99 Nights in the Forest Fancy Dressed class worth 30 Candy?

If you are planning several Candy farming runs, the 99 Nights in the Forest Fancy Dressed class makes sense as an early purchase. Its first perk helps with one of the most frustrating parts of the Halloween loop: replacing all those costume pieces after house visits. The final perk makes successful visits pay more, which gradually offsets the 30 Candy you spent.
The 99 Nights in the Forest Fancy Dressed class has one drawback for survival runs: it doesn’t directly improve combat. Fancy Dressed doesn’t supply a stronger weapon or keep the campfire lit. If you’re still being wiped out regularly, you may get further with a combat or survival class and fewer Candy bonuses. Have a look at the best classes guide before changing your usual setup.
Using the 99 Nights in the Forest Fancy Dressed class for Candy Collecting 13
Candy Collecting 13 is a new badge requiring at least 13 Candy from one trick-or-treat visit. Wearing a matching costume gets you eight, so you need to combine multiple bonuses for that single door. Players report that the fully improved class helps add two Candy towards the goal.
Community attempts describe adding a bonus from visiting a house after a long break, plus another reward boost during a run that extends past night 99. Players report stacking eight Candy from a matching outfit, two from the final class perk, two from a house-return bonus and at least one from progress past night 99. The exact combined formula comes from player testing; the developer hasn’t published a complete calculation.
Fancy Dressed versus the old Trick or Treater
Trick or Treater is an older seasonal class name with different previously documented perks. The 99 Nights in the Forest Fancy Dressed class is the new 2026 purchase and should be judged by its actual current class menu. Don’t use a previous Halloween’s progression numbers or Candy rewards to calculate what Fancy Dressed will give you now.
Our older Trick or Treater guide explains the historical unlock and why the two class names are easy to confuse. You can also compare the current purchases in the Halloween shop guide.
Why Fancy Dressed might not appear
Make sure you’re visiting Happy’s Halloween shop, not the ordinary costume storage. Look for Fancy Dressed Clothes, then open the class selection screen after buying it. If you’ve paid but can’t see the unlock, reconnect to a current server and check your class list before trying to purchase again.
The official Part 1 window ends on 24 October 2026 at 12:00 UTC, but that is not a confirmed deadline for every later Halloween reward. Check Happy’s live shop timer before spending your Candy. Check the main Halloween guide and the game’s own announcements before deciding how long you have left.
