Genshin Impact 7.2 livestream codes haven’t been released yet. HoYoverse has confirmed they will appear during the Version 7.2 Special Program on Friday, 23 October 2026 at 1 PM BST, but the actual strings, rewards and expiry times aren’t public.
The 7.2 codes will be revealed during Friday’s broadcast, so no redemption strings are available in advance. Here’s where to watch, what time the codes are expected and how to claim them when they’re released.
All Genshin Impact 7.2 livestream codes and rewards
HoYoverse’s 21 October announcement confirms new codes during the Special Program, but none of the strings are available yet. The opening broadcast time is confirmed; the rewards and expiry aren’t.
If you’ve seen a supposed 7.2 code already, check that it came from HoYoverse. September’s Version 7.1 codes are not new Genshin Impact 7.2 livestream codes. Our main Genshin Impact codes page covers other current promotional offers.
| 7.2 code information | Status on 22 October |

What time is the Version 7.2 Special Program?
The stream starts on Friday, 23 October 2026 at 1 PM BST. HoYoverse’s official announcement says 8 AM UTC−4, which is noon UTC and 1 PM in the UK. British Summer Time continues until the clocks change on Sunday, 25 October.
You can watch on the official Genshin Impact Twitch channel or YouTube channel. Both will carry the Version 7.2 content reveals. HoYoverse says the Genshin Impact 7.2 livestream codes will appear during that broadcast, but hasn’t given a precise minute for the code drops.
How to redeem Genshin Impact 7.2 livestream codes
Use HoYoverse’s official Genshin redemption page. Log in with the account you play on, choose your server and character if prompted, paste the code exactly and confirm. Repeat for each different code released during the programme.
You can also open Paimon Menu → Settings → Account → Redeem Code on platforms where the in-game option is available. Most promotional codes require Adventure Rank 10, so brand-new accounts may need to progress before redeeming.
After a successful redemption, collect the rewards from your in-game Mail. HoYoverse says these messages normally expire after 30 days. That’s the mailbox collection period, not how long the original code can be entered.
When will Genshin Impact 7.2 livestream codes expire?
No expiry date or time has been announced. The official preview confirms the livestream and redemption codes without specifying a deadline. Previous streams have used limited redemption windows, but their closing times are not confirmation of this one.
Redeem the Genshin Impact 7.2 livestream codes when they appear on Friday if you can. The code deadline is separate from the Version 7.2 update’s release, so waiting for the patch itself could mean missing the redemption window.
How many Primogems will the 7.2 codes give?
The total reward from Genshin Impact 7.2 livestream codes hasn’t been confirmed. For comparison, September’s Version 7.1 livestream had three codes giving 300 Primogems in total, plus Mora, Hero’s Wit and enhancement ore. That’s what the older broadcast offered, not a promised 7.2 reward.
If you’re working out how many Wishes you can save, wait for the actual code rewards before adding them to your total. Our free Primogems guide covers other ways to earn currency in the meantime.
Why is a Genshin code invalid or already redeemed?
Check the characters carefully, especially similar-looking letters and numbers. HoYoverse says redemption can fail if a code has expired, is restricted to another server, or has already been used on that account. Codes are generally redeemable only once each.
Use the official broadcast or HoYoverse’s own channels to confirm Genshin Impact 7.2 livestream codes before entering them. If a redemption succeeds but Mail never arrives, check which server you selected and contact HoYoverse Support. Avoid third-party redemption software.
Do you have to watch the livestream to redeem the codes?
No. You don’t have to watch the show or leave Twitch running to qualify. Once released, you can redeem Genshin Impact 7.2 livestream codes through your own eligible game account while they’re active. Simply watching the broadcast doesn’t automatically award Primogems; you still need to enter the strings.
