Palia Tattered Cloth comes from the Ghastly Jaakcats appearing during Spiritfest 2026. Elouisa wants 45 pieces for her Ghostly Evidence Bulletin Board request, which also requires Ectoplasm and two Elderwood materials.
You can hunt the spectral Jaakcats for cloth or claim five pieces from the current Twitch Drops campaign. There isn’t an official fixed spawn map or guaranteed quantity per kill, so don’t waste your evening chasing made-up coordinates.
Palia Tattered Cloth: how to get Tattered Cloth
The confirmed source of Palia Tattered Cloth is the seasonal Ghastly Jaakcat. Equip your hunting bow, locate a spectral Jaakcat during Spiritfest, defeat it and collect its loot. The patch notes call it a drop from Ghastly Jaakcats, but don’t provide a fixed amount per kill or an exact drop chance. Bring enough arrows to continue hunting if one defeat doesn’t finish your target.
Palia Tattered Cloth: where to find Ghastly Jaakcats
Spiritfest’s Ghastly Jaakcats are described as prowling creatures. Singularity 6’s Patch 0.207 confirms the variant and the cloth drop but gives no exact coordinates or daytime window for it. Hunt where Jaakcats are active and look for the special spectral creature rather than ordinary animals. Use an in-game marker or a current map verified for the Ghastly variant if you find one.
Palia Tattered Cloth: do normal Jaakcats drop it?
The official item source is Ghastly Jaakcats, not every member of the Jaakcat family. If you’re repeatedly getting normal animal materials, inspect the creature you’re hunting. The Halloween variant has a distinctive ghostly appearance. It’s more useful to move on and find the correct seasonal animal than keep defeating the same ordinary Jaakcats and hoping for a different loot table.
Palia Tattered Cloth: how many pieces are required?
The Ghostly Evidence bundle on Elouisa’s Spiritfest Bulletin Board asks for 45 Tattered Cloth. The rest of that bundle requires 30 Ectoplasm, five Elderwood Lotus and 20 Shmole Spores. You can contribute cloth at the Bulletin Board after finishing Ghost Flusters: Intro. You don’t have to save every single material until you’ve found all four types.
Get five pieces from Twitch Drops
The first tier of the October 2026 Palia Twitch Drops awards 5 Tattered Cloth and 10 Ectoplasm after one hour of watching an eligible stream. Claim it through your Twitch Drops Inventory and Palia’s in-game News. The campaign ends October 13 at 8 PM BST, so it’s useful if you’re short on Spiritfest materials today.
Can you craft cloth instead?
Ordinary Fabric, Silk and other textile ingredients aren’t equivalent to Palia Tattered Cloth. Singularity 6 doesn’t list a crafting recipe for the seasonal item. Ghastly Jaakcat drops are the normal acquisition method, with the temporary Twitch campaign as another confirmed source. Check the exact item name when donating so you’re not confusing it with furniture crafting resources.
Where to use Tattered Cloth
Take it to the Spiritfest Bulletin Board in Kilima Village. After accepting Ghost Flusters: Intro and speaking with Elouisa, open the Ghostly Evidence bundle and contribute your cloth. Completing the bundle helps you earn Kilima Coins, Lunar XP and friendship progress. All four finished bundles award L’il Ghosties, and Ghost Flusters: Outro gives a Spooky Moon Token.
When does the cloth event finish?
The Spiritfest celebration lasts through the end of October 2026. Ghastly Jaakcats and their Tattered Cloth are part of this seasonal event, so hunt them before the month finishes. The October Twitch Drops have a shorter deadline on October 13; missing those drops doesn’t mean you’ve lost the ability to hunt the animal in-game.
What if you have too few drops?
Check that you collected the animal’s loot after defeating a Ghastly Jaakcat. The developer doesn’t promise exactly one cloth for every hunt, and Spiritfest quests don’t automatically fill your inventory for you. Keep hunting the correct creature, use the remaining Twitch reward if eligible and donate any partial supply at the board so you can track what is still missing.
For Palia Tattered Cloth, check your progress during Spiritfest before the end of October. The item and quest routes above are available now, but the seasonal shops and creatures won’t necessarily be around afterward.
