The two new Palia Spiritfest plushes come from creatures you can catch during the October 2026 event. The Pumpkin Rockhopper Plush is a rare drop from Pumpkin Rockhoppers, while the Banshee Beetle Plush is a rare drop from Banshee Beetles.
Both creatures are also needed for Elouisa’s Spooky Critters Bulletin Board request. That makes hunting them worthwhile even when the rare plush doesn’t appear right away. Here’s where to find them and what you need before setting out.

Singularity 6 confirms both plush drops in Patch 0.207 but hasn’t published exact plush drop-rate percentages. You may have to catch several creatures before receiving one, even if you’ve already completed the Bulletin Board’s quantity requirement.
How to find Pumpkin Rockhoppers
Pumpkin Rockhoppers can be caught anywhere at any time of day, provided you use the Jack O’ Lantern Lure. Without the seasonal lure, these special creatures cannot be caught. Equip or use the correct lure before spending time looking for them.
Elouisa’s Spooky Critters bundle asks for 30 Pumpkin Rockhoppers, so keep the creatures while hunting the rare plush. The Rockhopper Pumpkin material requested for Phantasm Bait is a separate entry, not another name for the thirty creatures.
Palia Spiritfest plushes: Banshee Beetle locations
Banshee Beetles appear in the Royal Highlands between 6 PM and 9 PM in-game. The community-maintained creature guide lists four useful areas: Steps of Renova, the area northwest of Amber Lake, the southern wall of the Royal Hunting Grounds and the cave in Dawnspur Canyon.
Search those locations during the evening spawn window. Another player may have already collected a beetle, so move between the areas rather than waiting in one cleared spot. The beetles flee when disturbed, but relatively slowly, leaving time for another Smoke Bomb if your first throw misses.
How to catch the Palia Spiritfest plushes creatures
For Pumpkin Rockhoppers, use the Jack O’ Lantern Lure and catch the creatures it brings in. For Banshee Beetles, take your bug-catching supplies to the Royal Highlands during the evening. Approach carefully and throw Smoke Bombs before the bug escapes.
Both plushes are rare loot awarded when catching the matching species. Having the creature in your collection doesn’t automatically give you the plush, and regular Rockhoppers or ordinary beetles won’t substitute for the special versions.
How many creatures does the Spiritfest board need?
Elouisa’s Spooky Critters bundle requires 30 Pumpkin Rockhoppers, 20 Banshee Beetles, 20 Whispering Widow Moths and 20 star-quality Veil Piksiis. Hunting the first two can therefore move you towards both plushes and the Bulletin Board rewards.
Finish the four Ghost Flusters bundles for L’il Ghosties decorations, then complete the outro quest for a Spooky Moon Token. You can exchange that token for one seasonal player title.
Are the Palia Spiritfest plushes sold in the store?
The developer lists both as rare creature drops, not as confirmed purchases from the Spooky Moon Store. The shop has other spooky décor, including gargoyles and seasonal furnishings, but hunting the matching creature is the established way to earn these plushes.
When can you collect the Palia Spiritfest plushes?
Spiritfest runs through the end of October 2026. The new plush drops are part of this seasonal update, so try to complete your hunts while the event is active. Exact drop odds haven’t been announced, and there’s no guaranteed number of catches for either plush.
For the Palia Spiritfest plushes, use a Jack O’ Lantern Lure to catch Pumpkin Rockhoppers whenever you’re playing, then head to the Royal Highlands between 6 and 9 PM to find Banshee Beetles. You’ll be collecting the same creatures that Elouisa needs for her event board.
