ARC Raiders Frozen Trail 2.0 Patch Notes arrived on October 8 with an overhaul that changes more than the new snowy map. Embark has changed familiar weapons, redesigned progression, removed a matchmaking option and listed several bugs that are still affecting quests and equipment.
Pendola Pass is the biggest attraction, but returning players should also check their Anvil, Snap Hook and active Reward Pass before heading Topside. The official patch contains dozens of adjustments, so we’ve pulled out the ones that could genuinely change your next raid.
ARC Raiders Frozen Trail 2.0 Patch Notes: what’s new
Beyond Pendola Pass, the ARC Raiders Frozen Trail 2.0 Patch Notes introduce a long list of gear and progression additions. Here’s what shipped on October 8, not what appeared in an older preview.

|---|---|
| Map | Pendola Pass, plus Frigate and Redirection conditions |
| ARC enemies | Bully, Skulker and Hydra |
| Weapons | Bantam, Stiletto and Amplified Weapons |
| Gear | Grappling Hook, Cameras, Tether Launcher, Yank Grenade and Mountaineer’s Detector |
| Progression | Outpost, Skill Tree changes, Reward Pass and 22 new quests |
| Storage | Up to 328 slots without Expedition bonuses |

Weapon buffs, nerfs and the Snap Hook changes
The ARC Raiders Frozen Trail 2.0 Patch Notes increase explosive damage to ARC armour plates by more than 50%, but reduce damage to fragile parts by roughly 30%. That includes weapons such as the Hullcracker, so targeting heavy armour can be more rewarding than repeatedly hitting a weak point with explosives.
Anvil moves from Uncommon to Rare, with the new Bantam filling the Uncommon hand-cannon role. The Anvil Splitter becomes part of the Amplified Anvil upgrade path instead of remaining a regular mod. Jupiter’s unintended double damage propagation has been fixed too, leaving it stronger against armour but a little weaker against weak spots.
The Snap Hook reaches 18 metres instead of 20, with durability consumption rising from 2% to 4% and power cost increasing from 50 to 60. Heavy Shield movement penalties fall from 15% to 10%, and durability decay is reduced. Our weapons balance guide explains the rest of these adjustments.
New Skill Tree and Reward Points
The ARC Raiders Frozen Trail 2.0 Patch Notes give the Skill Tree more meaningful choices. Each branch has a midpoint decision between two abilities, while end nodes allow you to choose up to two of three. Resetting the tree lets you revisit those decisions.
Cred is gone, replaced with Reward Points. Frozen Trail’s new Reward Pass offers 60 levels across Free and Premium tracks; old Raider Decks are preserved in the Legacy Pass. Only your selected active pass earns points, so check it before completing Feats. Easy, Medium and Hard Feats award 15, 25 and 50 Reward Points, while weekly milestones award 250 points each.
Existing stamina and healing skills have changed as well. Fight or Flight grants around 25% more stamina per level, Stubborn Mule regeneration rises around 33%, and Back on Your Feet heals 40 instead of 30. The Skill Tree guide compares the new choices.
Pendola Pass, new quests and the Outpost
The ARC Raiders Frozen Trail 2.0 Patch Notes add Dynamic Loot Zones to Pendola Pass. Loot value can vary between raids, although a residential area still provides residential-category loot. The map also brings new ARC enemies, with Frigate and Redirection as additional map conditions.
Embark has added 22 quests and now awards XP for quest objectives and completion. Five existing photography-related quests use the new Camera. The Outpost is unlocked through a project and includes a Research Bench, expandable modules and furniture crafting. A total of 100 Furniture Designs have been added.

Known bugs listed in the October 8 update
The ARC Raiders Frozen Trail 2.0 Patch Notes identify issues that are not fixed yet. Field Repair can sometimes be unavailable after unlocking, with a game restart offered as a temporary workaround. Tether Launcher repair is currently unavailable, and Hydra can detect and shoot players through walls in the Cargo area.
Picking up the Pieces cannot currently be completed on Pendola Pass, but works on other maps. Sizing Things Up can finish without its cinematic, and there are several acknowledged Outpost placement and camera issues. Embark also lists rare audio, attachment-visibility and keybind problems. These are worth checking before assuming your save is corrupted.
Other changes and fixes worth knowing
The ARC Raiders Frozen Trail 2.0 Patch Notes remove Solo vs. Squads from matchmaking while Embark reviews that option. Players also get fixes for a graphics-setting crash, some Xbox invitations, inconsistent voice chat, animations and hit registration while shooting from ARC. The update includes AMD FSR 4.1.1 and various memory optimisations.
The new content is available during the October 8 to 12 free weekend. If you want to spend that time exploring the new map rather than searching for an exit, the Pendola Pass extraction guide covers its Ballistic Gondolas.

The ARC Raiders Frozen Trail 2.0 Patch Notes also confirm that the Stash can reach 328 slots without Expedition rewards or extra Nomadic Envoy storage. If you’ve been saving rare components for your next upgrade, the additional space gives you some breathing room without changing how extraction works.
