Warframe Taubound Moonflesh is the currency for Epoch Operation: Taubound, live until November 17, 2026. Farm it across Eris, then trade it to Praghasa for new cosmetics, returning Operation gear, Tauforged Archon Shards, Arcanes, a Legendary Core and more.
The live numbers are now clear: Infested can drop 2 Moonflesh each, or 3 on Steel Path, while Operation Alerts pay 50 Moonflesh or 75 on Steel Path. Resource boosters won’t increase any of those amounts because Moonflesh is Operation Currency.
How to get Warframe Taubound Moonflesh
Head to Eris and run missions while Taubound is active. Regular Eris missions provide fixed Moonflesh on completion, Infested enemies can drop more during the mission, and rotating Operation Alerts give a larger guaranteed payout.

Maggots are excluded from the enemy-drop rule. Killing them won’t add another two or three Warframe Taubound Moonflesh to your total.
Do resource boosters increase Moonflesh?
No. Digital Extremes classifies Moonflesh as Operation Currency, so resource boosters have no effect on it. Normal enemy drops stay at 2 Moonflesh and Steel Path drops stay at 3.
The same applies to the guaranteed Alert reward. The listed 50 and 75 Moonflesh payouts are the event values rather than amounts that can be doubled with a booster.
Are Steel Path Taubound missions better?
Steel Path increases both confirmed live payouts: Infested drops rise from 2 to 3 Warframe Taubound Moonflesh and Operation Alerts rise from 50 to 75.
Steel Path pays 50% more from the confirmed live sources, but the tougher enemies can erase that gain if your clears take much longer. Use the version you can run quickly and consistently rather than assuming Steel Path always wins on Moonflesh per minute.
How often do Taubound Operation Alerts appear?
The time-limited Alerts appear in Navigation roughly every hour. Each one pays 50 Moonflesh on the normal Star Chart or 75 on Steel Path, and Infested inside the Alert can still make their usual Warframe Taubound Moonflesh drops.
That makes Alerts useful twice over: there is a guaranteed completion payout and another chance to collect enemy drops while you are clearing the mission.
Who can farm Moonflesh on Eris?
Any Tenno who has completed Vor’s Prize can take part. Normal Eris Star Chart and Junction restrictions are lifted during the Operation, so Warframe Taubound Moonflesh is available even if your account has not permanently unlocked the planet.
The Hex and The Old Peace are only required for the separate Tau Prologue. They are not requirements for Eris access, Moonflesh farming or Praghasa’s Taubound shop.
Where to spend Warframe Taubound Moonflesh
Take Warframe Taubound Moonflesh to Praghasa on Eris. Her shop contains the new Contegorus Armor pieces, Vacis Amp Skin, Dhampyre Syandana, The Moon Killer Honoria and other Taubound items, alongside returning weapons, cosmetics, Arcanes and resources.

The Arcane cap of 42 is enough for two fully ranked copies of each Arcane Praghasa sells. The three Tauforged Shards and Legendary Core are one-time purchases, which makes those easy to account for when deciding where your Moonflesh goes first.
Why some Contegorus Armor pieces are still locked
The Contegorus Armor Set is tied to the community-wide Moonflesh total. The Greaves unlock for purchase at 30% overall progress, the Pauldrons at 60% and the Chest Plate at 90%.
These are global milestones, not personal unlocks. Your own Warframe Taubound Moonflesh contributes to the community meter, but everyone waits for 30%, 60% and 90% before the matching armor pieces become purchasable.
What happens to Moonflesh after November 17?
Epoch Operation: Taubound ends on November 17 and Digital Extremes says the Operation will never rerun. There is no announced post-event Moonflesh exchange to save the currency for later.
Spend the Warframe Taubound Moonflesh you want to use before the Operation closes, and visit Praghasa during the event if you want her time-limited daily narrative messages.
