Fisch Icing Pool: Where to Find It and How It Works

Fisch Icing Pool

Fisch Icing Pool is part of the live Fisch 2nd Anniversary event, and it connects directly to the Birthday Cake progression rather than sitting in a separate permanent system. The Icing Pool is the turn-in point under the giant Birthday Cake connected to Moosewood, and it is where anniversary catches become candle progression and Cupcakes.

If you are catching event fish but nothing is happening to the reward track, the missing step is usually returning those catches to this pool rather than simply keeping them in inventory. The practical route is to use the limited event systems together, because catching anniversary fish, submitting unique species, earning Cupcakes and unlocking candle rewards all feed into one another.

Travel to Moosewood and head to the large 2nd Anniversary Birthday Cake. The Icing Pool is at the base of the cake and uses a Toss In interaction for eligible anniversary catches.

You do not need to unlock a separate island or permanent quest zone first. The event loop starts from the cake itself.

How the Icing Pool works

  1. Catch one of the 12 limited anniversary species.
  2. Return to the Birthday Cake near Moosewood.
  3. Use Toss In at the Icing Pool.
  4. A new species advances the unique candle chain.
  5. Collect Cupcakes or the relevant candle milestone reward.

A duplicate anniversary fish can still be useful for bait, but it will not light another unique candle. The Icing Pool therefore handles both progression and repeat-fish recycling.

Which fish can be submitted?

FishCurrent catch type

Birthday Profane LeviathanPool-focused

Birthday IsonadePool-focused
Birthday FloppyPool-focused
Birthday Rubber DuckyPool-focused

The collection has six pool-focused fish and six globally obtainable fish. That split is useful when you are trying to find the next unique submission.

Icing Pool not counting a fish

First make sure the catch belongs to the current 2nd Anniversary collection. If it does, check whether you have already submitted that species. Duplicate turn-ins can reward bait without advancing the unique candle total, which can look like the pool ignored the fish.

Fisch Icing Pool quick answer

Fisch Icing Pool is easiest to manage when you keep the Birthday Cake, Anniversary Pools and Cupcakes loop connected. Check the requirement above, finish the relevant unique-catch step, and verify the reward or progression change before moving on.

If Fisch Icing Pool is still not behaving as expected, compare your unique submissions with the in-game Bestiary first. Most anniversary progression problems come from a missing species, a duplicate turn-in, or waiting for the wrong type of fishing location rather than a hidden permanent requirement.

Best way to use Fisch Icing Pool in the event loop

Fisch Icing Pool makes more sense when you treat the anniversary as one connected route. Keep global catches moving between pool windows, react immediately to the pink-pool announcement, submit every new species at the Birthday Cake and save enough Cupcakes for the catches you still need. That avoids spending the limited event window repeating work that does not advance either the Bestiary or the candle chain.

Before leaving a session, check three things: the Bestiary entry, the number of unique candles lit and your Cupcakes supply. If Fisch Icing Pool has already been secured, switch to another missing species or reward milestone. If it has not, use the location and requirement above rather than changing weather, time or season without evidence from the live event.

The short anniversary window also changes what is worth prioritising. Permanent money farming, long quest chains and ordinary Bestiary cleanup can wait. Limited fish, candle milestones and event-only rewards should come first because those are the pieces that disappear with the celebration. Keep a simple missing-fish list so every pool spawn or normal fishing session has a clear target.

If progress feels slow, avoid resetting your whole route. Check whether the next missing entry is a pool-focused fish or a global catch, make sure Cupcakes are equipped where appropriate, and use the Anniversary Totem only when an extra pool opportunity would actually help. That keeps each session focused on the requirement that is still incomplete.

Fisch Icing Pool should be checked against the live event panel after each meaningful step. That confirmation is more reliable than repeating the same catch, reward or location when your account has already recorded the requirement.
