Fallout 76 The Debunker Radio Location: Where Is It?

The Debunker Radio Location is not a normal named map location you need to discover before starting The Slasher.

That wording can make it sound as if players should hunt for a radio studio or tower. The important location is effectively your Pip-Boy Radio tab until the broadcast gives you a physical objective.

Where is The Debunker Radio Location?

For The Debunker Radio Location, open the Pip-Boy Radio list instead of searching Appalachia for a Debunker building. Tune into Breaking News to begin, then follow the Seasonal The Slasher quest when the broadcast hands you a map objective.

Bethesda has not instructed players to travel to a permanent map marker called The Debunker Radio.

Why Bethesda calls it The Debunker Radio

The Slasher story is presented as an unfolding media investigation, with emergency broadcasts and Debunker updates revealing new leads week by week.

The radio framing is part of the storytelling device rather than proof that every broadcast has a discoverable station interior.

Breaking News is the first station to use

The release notes are explicit: start the experience by tuning into Breaking News in the Pip-Boy. That is the safest instruction to follow when a guide or social post tells you to “find The Debunker.”

Once the message plays, ordinary quest markers can lead you to the next real-world location.

Use the Seasonal quest after the broadcast

Track Seasonal The Slasher under Side quests. The objective text is more useful than wandering the map because it updates as Bethesda unlocks each new stage.

Later steps can send players to graves, Infestations and other locations, but those are story objectives rather than the location of the radio service itself.

What if you cannot hear the station?

Check audio settings, confirm the radio station is selected and make sure the Slasher update is installed. A silent or missing station is a troubleshooting problem, not evidence that you are standing in the wrong part of Appalachia.

Why this search is confusing

Fallout 76 uses both physical radios and Pip-Boy broadcast stations throughout its quests. In The Slasher, Bethesda’s wording centres the Pip-Boy broadcast first, so searching for a world-space Debunker Radio location sends players in the wrong direction.

Follow the marker, not the broadcaster

Once the quest updates, stop searching for the Fallout 76 The Debunker Radio Location and follow the actual objective marker. The story will send you to physical places as needed.

The radio is how the investigation reaches you; the objective is where you travel.

Why The Debunker Radio Location search leads nowhere

The Debunker Radio Location sounds like it should be a building or tower, but Bethesda’s live instructions never tell players to discover one. The Debunker is the broadcaster supplying story updates, while the Pip-Boy is the player’s receiving device.

Once a broadcast produces a physical clue, stop searching The Debunker Radio Location and follow that map marker instead.

The Debunker versus Breaking News

The Debunker Radio Location confusion also comes from two names being used around the same story. Breaking News is the station Bethesda explicitly says to tune into at the start, while The Debunker Radio describes the source providing continuing reports.

Treat those as parts of the same radio-driven investigation rather than two map locations you must unlock.
