Genshin Impact: How to break the Signora Ice shield

Signora is one of the newer weekly bosses in Genshin Impact, so here’s a tip on how to break the Ice shield if you haven’t figured it out.

How to break the Ice shield in the Signora fight in Genshin Impact

As you might expect from this boss using a large cocoon of ice, the best solution is the simplest solution. Melting it.

Of course, if you try whacking away at it with a Pyro character it might still take a while – so here’s a faster method to try. Look around the arena and locate one of these Crimson Lotus moths. They glow bright red, so they’ll stand out.

When you spot one, make sure to pick it up quickly, as they don’t stick around forever and will disappear at some point. They’re often found between the breakable heat crystals in each corner of the boss fight room.

From here, you’ll get a fairly strong one-use buff of Pyro damage on your next attack, and you just need to smack Signora with it to break away a large chunk of the ice. Around 4 of these is enough to total it entirely, even with low if any damage from any other source, so it’s a very reliable method to use for this fight.

That’s really it for this one, breaking the ice Signora uses is a pretty simple task when you know how to do it in this Genshin fight, it’s just a mid-fight phase after all. Don’t forget to break the heat crystals in the corners to avoid freezing while chasing those moths down for the buff though, Travellers.
