Genshin Impact: Leaker suggests that Ganyu rerun is coming

After all the fuss around the recent Yoimiya banner, Genshin Impact is getting close to its next update, and among the confirmed leaks, there are also many rumors, such as a possible Ganyu banner rerun.

As usual with any other gacha games, limited characters usually come back after some time, as we’ve already seen with Venti, Tartaglia and Zhongli. Naturally, reruns for strong characters that people missed such as Ganyu, Xiao and Hu Tao are very requested.

We already know that there will be no reruns during the 2.1 update. But will we be seeing one actually happening anytime soon? The answer might be yes.

When is the Ganyu rerun happening in Genshin Impact?

Leaker Ubatcha recently posted a tweet hinting about a “chill” rerun possibly happening in the 2.2 update, since Inazuma is taking a “bow”. This is obviously a reference to our favorite Cocogoat.

He also mentions that, if the rerun happens, it will feature at least one new character. We’ve previously seen Rosaria being added in Tartaglia’s second banner, as well as Yanfei debuting in Zhongli’s rerun, so there’s a real chance of this being accurate.

As for the character, we don’t have any information about who it might be. The most possible guesses are either Thoma or Garou, but we can’t say anything with certainty. It might even be a completely new character.

Take this information with a grain of salt, since we don’t have any reliable leak about the 2.2 version. Ubatcha has previously leaked real information and is a reliable source, but we don’t have anything else supporting the rerun.
