Genshin Impact 2.0: The Heron’s Invitation Web Event guide

A new web event arrived in Genshin Impact, The Heron’s Invitation. In this event, which is way easier than the previous events, our objective is to buy presents for Kamisato Ayaka before she arrives. This event can be done in a single day and doesn’t require players to keep coming back.

You can start the event by clicking here, or by doing it through the in-game mail. The rewards for the event include 40 Primogems, 20000 Mora and 3 Shivada Jade Fragments, used to ascend Ayaka. The event will be available until August 2. More information can be found in the official Hoyolab post.

How to complete The Heron’s Invitation

Right after the first conversation, Paimon will say that we need to get Ayaka a present, and we can visit some vendors from Inazuma to find her fitting gifts. The objective is to buy only the Luxurious items from the 4 stores. 

When you enter a store, you can either buy the wares or chat with the customers. Check the items and see if there’s any Luxurious or Delicious quality available. If there isn’t any, chat with the customers to reroll your options. You can do this 10 times for each store. If you couldn’t find the items even after rerolling, you must wait 2 minutes for the items to renew themselves.

If you got unlucky on your rerolls, you might need to wait a little bit, but the items usually appear very quickly. You need two items from the two upper stores, and one from each of the two bottom ones. After getting the items, you’ll be able to go back to the Kamisato Estate and get your rewards via in-game mail. Pretty simple, huh?

Genshin Impact is in the first week of its 2.0 version, “The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia”, that introduced new characters, new weapons and an entire new region for exploration, along with many new systems and enemies.

You can play the game for free on mobile devices, Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and Pcs on both miHoYo’s official launcher and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version is stated to be in development.
