As we enjoy the start of the Genshin Impact 2.0 version, “The Immortal God and the Eternal Euthymia”, leaks about the next version are gradually coming, and now we have new chat emotes being added to the game. We already have new characters and areas confirmed, and miHoYo is also working on their previous systems, which is always a good sign.

The new chat emotes on Genshin Impact

Known leaker Lumie revealed today that 80 new emotes were added to the in-game chat. Those emotes are useful when playing coop with strangers, and are all based on some of the characters from the game.

These are the first new emotes that are being added to the game, and are mostly based on characters not included in the first version, but we also got emotes for characters like Sucrose or Mona.

Lumie also made all emotes available on a compressed file, so you can use them on your Discord server or in chats applications like Whatsapp.

Some older characters like Diluc or Bennett still don’t have any emote related to them, but it is probably a matter of time until miHoYo decides to add more chat emotes dedicated to each character of Genshin Impact.

The game is currently on its 2.0 version, which was the biggest update yet. It includes the new region of Inazuma, new characters, enemies, puzzles and more systems, while also expanding on the story of trying to find your lost sibiling.

You can play the game for free on mobile devices, Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and Pcs on both miHoYo’s official launcher and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version is stated to be in development.
