Aloy, a PlayStation icon, is coming to miHoYo’s Genshin Impact in the next major title update. This is, for lack of a better phrase, a pretty big deal. If it is well received, imagine the possibilities for other collaborative content down the line. We know your Team might be pretty stacked, but here’s everything you need to know about how you can unlock Aloy in Genshin Impact.
How To Unlock Aloy In Genshin Impact
It’s hard to believe but Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn (and Horizon Forbidden West) is coming to Genshin Impact. Guerrilla has recently also collaborated with Epic Games regarding Aloy appearing in another title, so this isn’t as surprising as you might think it is. Still, it’s very cool.

If you want to know how you can unlock Aloy in Genshin Impact, all you need to do is play Genshin Impact. There is a catch, though. Aloy is only going to be available for a limited time during Update 2.1. In addition to this, you will only get access if you’re playing Genshin Impact on a PS4 or PS5!
Cross-Save features are coming, but we don’t know if they will affect Aloy yet. PlayStation has promised to share more information closer to the release of Genshin 2.1. Genshin Impact updates every six weeks, give or take, so we should be seeing Genshin Impact 2.1 release in mid-September.

How To Get Your Hands On Her Predator Bow, Too
Aloy’s Predator Bow is also joining her on her adventures in Teyvat, but this one’s a little easier to get ahold of. If you want to unlock the Predator Bow in Genshin Impact, all you need to do is be above Adventure Rank 20 when it comes out.
You will find your Predator Bow waiting for you via in-game mail. It’s free, of course, but only available if you log in via PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5.
As you can see below, it will be available for Version 2.1 and 2.2. If you don’t play a lot, the mail itself will expire after 365 days so be sure to check in!
The weapon’s “Strong Strike” will only work on PlayStation, however, you can use the Predator Bow and Aloy on any platform once claimed.
