Genshin Impact 2.0: PlayStation Versions Will Get Cross-Save with PC/Mobile

Today, during the Special Program, focused on the upcoming version 2.0 of Genshin Impact, miHoYo revealed that the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of the game will, with the release of version 2.0, finally get Cross-Save with PC and mobile.

According to miHoYo, the feature will be made possible by the linking of both your miHoYo and PSN accounts, allowing the cross-play between the devices.

The announcement confirms the leaks revealed earlier this month by known leaker Genshin Report and will allow console players to share their progression among all platforms after the release of Genshin’s upcoming version 2.0, which will feature the arrival of new characters and that of the region of Inazuma.

According to various leaks and taking into account the official information revealed by mihoYo, Genshin Impact’s version 2.0 (1.7) will be released at the end of July, on July 21st to be more specific.

You can take part in Genshin Impact’s version 1.6 right now, which features the character banner of Kaedehara Kazuha, as well as his featured weapon banner, a new Archon quest, and much more. 

Genshin Impact is currently available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, mobile devices – Android and iOS – and for PC, via miHoYo’s official launcher and, since June 9th, in the Epic Games Store. A version of the game for the Nintendo Switch is also reportedly in development.
