Space Jam: A New Legacy, a brand new sequel to the classic 90s movie starring LeBron James, is set to be released this Friday. To help market its release we have seen LeBron James come to the world of Fortnite, and now a 2D Beat-Em-Up has been released on Xbox Series X and PC.

Here is how to download and play it for free.

How To Download Space Jam: A New Legacy – The Game

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers are able to download this game early for free. Space Jam: A New Legacy – The Game is being given away by Microsoft as a free perk for being an Ultimate subscriber.

To download it, head to the Game Pass perks section on your Xbox Series X or on the Xbox app on your PC.

Once you find the box for Space Jam: A New Legacy – The Game click on it and you will see a code that is unique to your console.

Click on Redeem Code and add the game to your account, from there you will be able to download and play the game. It is only just over 500 MB in size so it shouldn’t take too long to install.

About Space Jam: A New Legacy – The Game

Space Jam: A New Legacy – The Game is a 2D Beat-Em-Up, similar to games such as Streets Of Rage with players taking control of either LeBron James, Bugs Bunny, or Lola Bunny as they face the Goon Squad.

A rogue artificial intelligence named Al G. Rhythm has trapped our heroes inside the Warner Bros. server, with little chance of escape. The Tune Squad must fight their way through a virtual army of Al G.’s creation while also searching for four pieces of “Legacy Code” that will allow them access to the nefarious villain’s secret location.

Al G. has sent two members of the Goon Squad – The Brow and White Mamba – to stop the Tune Squad in their tracks. Fortunately, our heroes have access to a variety of moves, including a special basketball, and some rather unique Space Jam cards, to help them out. But will their teamwork be enough to stop Al G. Rhythm’s evil plans?
