The Fortnite Tetris POI is taking shape at Sunken Shores ahead of Chapter 7 Season 4, with new teaser footage showing Tetrimino blocks scattered across the location and crashed into its buildings.
The latest Tetris crossover teaser gives us our clearest look yet at how the collaboration will affect the Fortnite map. Rather than introducing a completely separate Tetris location, the footage shows Sunken Shores being changed by the arrival of Tetriminos.
Where Is the Fortnite Tetris POI?

The Fortnite Tetris POI is connected to Sunken Shores.
The latest teaser shows Tetrimino blocks appearing throughout the existing location, with several pieces embedded in or around its structures.
That makes Sunken Shores the first Fortnite location clearly shown receiving Tetris-themed changes ahead of Chapter 7 Season 4.
What Happened to Sunken Shores in Fortnite?
Sunken Shores has been hit by Tetris blocks.
The teaser shows the familiar Tetriminos scattered around the POI after apparently arriving through rifts and crashing into the area. Some are sitting among buildings while others appear to have struck structures directly.
The location has not been completely replaced in the footage we have seen.
Instead, the Tetris crossover appears to be changing the existing Sunken Shores POI.
Is Sunken Shores Becoming a Tetris POI?
Sunken Shores is clearly receiving Tetris-themed changes, although Epic Games has not announced a new official name for the location.
For now, the Fortnite Tetris POI is best described as a Tetris-modified version of Sunken Shores rather than an entirely new named location.

| Tetrimino blocks | Shown |

What Are the Tetris Blocks at Sunken Shores?
The blocks are Tetriminos, the familiar geometric pieces used in Tetris.
They appear throughout Sunken Shores in the new Fortnite footage and form the clearest confirmation yet that the Tetris crossover is affecting the Battle Royale island itself.
Their presence goes beyond the smaller Tetris-style clues that appeared in earlier Chapter 7 Season 4 promotional material.
We can now see the pieces physically occupying an existing Fortnite location.
How Did the Tetris Blocks Get to Sunken Shores?
The current footage shows the Tetrimino blocks arriving through rifts and crash-landing around Sunken Shores.
That explains why the pieces appear lodged in and around the buildings rather than being neatly placed around the POI.
Epic has not revealed whether the arrival of the Tetriminos is part of Fortnite’s storyline or simply the way the crossover is being introduced.
Are Tetris Blocks Destroying Sunken Shores?
Some structures appear to have been struck by the Tetriminos.
The footage shows blocks crashed into parts of the location, suggesting Sunken Shores will look different when players return in Chapter 7 Season 4.
We do not yet have a complete before-and-after view of the POI, so the full extent of the damage is not known.
Will Sunken Shores Still Be in Fortnite Season 4?
The teaser still shows Sunken Shores as a recognisable location.
There is currently no announcement saying the POI is being removed entirely.
Instead, the available footage points to Sunken Shores being modified with Tetris elements for Chapter 7 Season 4.
Its final name and exact layout have not yet been revealed.
Is the Fortnite Tetris POI Coming in Chapter 7 Season 4?
Yes. The Sunken Shores changes are being shown as part of the Chapter 7 Season 4 rollout.
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override begins on August 20, 2026. Epic officially announced the season name and launch date earlier this month.
The Tetris changes are therefore expected to be part of the new season’s map.
Will Tetris Blocks Be Interactive?
That has not been confirmed.
The latest footage shows the Tetriminos physically present at Sunken Shores, but Epic has not explained whether players can interact with the blocks themselves.
There is no confirmed information yet about:
- Moving Tetriminos
- Breaking Tetriminos
- Building with them
- Completing lines
- Using them for quests
- Receiving bonuses from them
For now, the blocks are confirmed as part of the location.
Is There a Tetris Item in Fortnite Season 4?
Current Season 4 coverage also points to a Tetrimino Junk Rift-style item, although its full gameplay details have not yet been formally explained by Epic.
The teaser material suggests Tetris will therefore extend beyond simple decoration at Sunken Shores.
Exactly how the item works, where it is found and what damage or effects it has have not yet been fully detailed.
Will the Fortnite Tetris POI Have Quests?
No Tetris quests have been announced yet.
Sunken Shores would be an obvious place for crossover quests if Epic introduces them, but there is currently no confirmed quest list.
There are also no announced objectives involving Tetriminos or the modified buildings.
Is There a Tetris Boss at Sunken Shores?
No.
There is no Tetris boss confirmed for the Fortnite Tetris POI.
Tetris does not have a traditional central character in the same way as many of Fortnite’s other gaming collaborations, and nothing shown so far points towards a boss encounter at Sunken Shores.
Does the Tetris POI Replace Sunken Shores?
Not from what has been shown so far.
The teaser shows Sunken Shores itself with Tetriminos scattered throughout the area.
That points to an altered version of the existing POI rather than a completely separate location replacing it.
Epic has not announced a new map name for the area.
Is Tetris Confirmed for Fortnite?
The Tetris crossover is now being shown directly through Chapter 7 Season 4 promotional material, including the Tetriminos at Sunken Shores.
Earlier teasers included Tetris-style shapes and the mysterious PerfectOrder clue, but the new Sunken Shores footage gives the crossover a much clearer presence on the Fortnite island.
What We Know About the Fortnite Tetris POI
The Fortnite Tetris POI is a modified version of Sunken Shores filled with Tetrimino blocks.
The latest Chapter 7 Season 4 teaser shows the pieces rifting onto the island and crash-landing around the existing POI, including into some of its structures.
Epic has not revealed a new official name for Sunken Shores, and we do not yet know whether the Tetriminos themselves can be used or interacted with.
The Fortnite Tetris POI is expected to appear when Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override launches on August 20, 2026.
