Since Sunday, November 8, Lil Uzi Vert has been the fort’s boss, and the fight is your route to his new Lil’ SMG and the Lil Uzi Vert Jr. Sprite.

If you’re going after the Week 2 quest, mark the fort before jumping from the Battle Bus. You don’t need to buy the Lil Uzi skin or do anything special to enter. You do, however, need enough equipment to survive a boss fight at one of the island’s busiest new drops.

Where is the Fortnite Lil Uzi Vert boss location?

The Fortnite Lil Uzi Vert boss location is the northeastern fort labelled Fortune’s Fort in the current map data, immediately east of Loot Lagoon. The official preview map called the area Lil Uzi’s Stronghold. Don’t confuse it with The $.$. Rocky, A$AP Rocky’s boss ship on the eastern coast.

Our advice is to land on the edge of Fortune’s Fort, grab a gun and shields, then move in. Dropping right onto the main building can work if nobody follows you, but today plenty of players are chasing the exact same boss. How to defeat Lil Uzi Vert

Lil Uzi Vert took over the Stronghold at 2 PM GMT on November 8. Epic has confirmed a boss encounter, not just a friendly NPC. Head towards the main fortress once you’re equipped, keep cover nearby and be ready for other teams to join the fight. A quiet approach is preferable to spraying from the middle of an open courtyard.

The exact room, patrol route and respawn time haven’t been verified by a current in-game image. How to complete the Defeat Lil Uzi Vert quest

The Week 2 challenge is Defeat Lil Uzi Vert, worth 20,000 XP. You’ll need to take on the boss at the Fortnite Lil Uzi Vert boss location, not eliminate a player wearing his Outfit. Check the quest tracker after the fight. If another squad has already finished the encounter, don’t assume an immediate respawn.

There’s also a quest to hit opponents 75 times with Lil’ Uzi Vert’s Lil’ SMG or other SMGs. That means you can use a normal SMG if you haven’t obtained his. It’s 75 hits, not 75 damage, so you can work on this one independently of the boss challenge.

When does the Lil Uzi Vert boss arrive?

The event began Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 9 AM ET / 2 PM GMT. That is 6 AM PST, 3 PM CET, 7:30 PM IST and 11 PM JST, or 1 AM AEDT Monday in Sydney. The one confirmed 24-hour deadline is the higher drop rate for Lil Uzi Vert Jr. Sprite variants, ending Monday, November 9 at 2 PM GMT.

That boost doesn’t automatically mean the boss disappears at the same moment. Epic hasn’t announced a separate vault time for him or the Lil’ SMG. If you’re searching for the Fortnite Lil Uzi Vert boss location after Monday’s bonus ends, check the current in-game map and quests rather than assuming the whole encounter has been removed.

Does beating Lil Uzi unlock the outfit?

No. Lil Uzi Vert’s playable Outfit is scheduled for the November 12 Item Shop. Beating the boss earns no confirmed free skin. The Fortnite Lil Uzi Vert boss location is about a fight, its loot and a weekly XP objective, not a cosmetic unlock.

Other November 8 changes to know

Cursed Sprites began appearing in the wild and a second Map Fragment became available on November 8 too. Cursed variants improve the chance of finding rare Sprite finishes, but water damages you while their effect is active. The fragment is a separate collection objective. Don’t assume the boss drops it just because the two updates arrived together.
