Reverse 1999 ONiON Broadcast to the World is ONiON’s Version 3.9 Anecdote, opening on 13 November 2026 at 10:00 GMT. Complete main story 1ST-16 Heaven Apostles to qualify, then play the time-limited character story for rewards including a five-star Psychube and Greed. The Anecdote closes on 27 November at 09:59 GMT.
This is easy to confuse with ONiON’s Front Page Exclusive outfit, but they’re two different events. The outfit is a reward from Musae’s Arcade, while Broadcast to the World offers the Anecdote’s own items. Here’s what Bluepoch has announced about the story, how to access it when it opens and what not to assume about the rewards.
Reverse 1999 ONiON Broadcast to the World unlock time and end date
The Anecdote begins on 13 November at 05:00 (UTC-5) and ends on 27 November at 04:59 (UTC-5). Those convert to 10:00 GMT on 13 November and 09:59 GMT on 27 November in Britain. The finish is 10:59 CET in Central Europe, 18:59 JST in Japan and 20:59 AEDT in Sydney.
You’ll need to clear 1ST-16 Heaven Apostles to enter. Once the event starts, look for ONiON’s Broadcast to the World entry in the Anecdote or Version 3.9 event listings. This isn’t available on 6 November, so there isn’t a live walkthrough or a verified menu path for every puzzle yet.
What is the story in Reverse 1999 ONiON Broadcast to the World?
Bluepoch’s teaser focuses on aged photographs in a darkroom and memories resurfacing from the past. That is the premise of ONiON’s Anecdote rather than a description of Musae’s Arcade minigames. The event is a character-focused story, with its own playable content when the November 13 window begins.
The developer’s release notice doesn’t set out exact dialogue answers, a puzzle solution, chapter list or challenge-specific controls. Claims that you must pick a particular photograph or solve a named riddle would be guesses before the event is available. Read the in-game prompts as you advance through ONiON’s story and check the rewards attached to each step.
Reverse 1999 ONiON Broadcast to the World rewards: five-star Psychube and Greed
Bluepoch lists a five-star Psychube and Greed as the main rewards. The initial event schedule doesn’t give the Psychube’s exact name, the number of Greed items or the full task checklist for claiming each one. Those details need the live Anecdote reward panel once the event opens.
A five-star Psychube is equipment, not a six-star character or a garment. The schedule doesn’t describe Broadcast to the World as giving ONiON a permanent new costume. If you’re deciding where to spend your time, the important distinction is that the Anecdote provides its listed story rewards while a separate Arcade system provides the outfit.
How is this different from ONiON’s Arcade garment?
The Musae’s Arcade guide covers the route to Front Page Exclusive: arcade minigames award Duel Cards, Duel Time rewards Marvelous Marbles, and those can be spent at the Costume Vending Machine for coupon rewards. That event starts on 7 November and stays open until 17 December.
The two activities have different start and end dates, menus and rewards. Completing Reverse 1999 ONiON Broadcast to the World does not automatically grant Front Page Exclusive, and saving Marble currency isn’t how you obtain the Anecdote’s five-star Psychube. Keep those reward paths separate to avoid following instructions for the wrong ONiON event.
What about Ducks in the Suitcase?
There is also a Version 3.9 Ducks in the Suitcase sign-in activity. It asks for three login days and features a collaboration building called When the World Was Small and a Delicate Insight Package. That building is not another ONiON skin, and its three-day login rules don’t apply to the Anecdote or the Arcade costume exchange.
For Reverse 1999 ONiON Broadcast to the World, finish the Heaven Apostles story prerequisite now, enter ONiON’s Anecdote after it unlocks on 13 November, and collect the five-star Psychube and Greed rewards by 27 November at 09:59 GMT. If you also want the outfit, work through Musae’s Arcade separately before its December cutoff.
What can you do before Reverse 1999 ONiON Broadcast to the World opens?
You can complete the required main story and review the Version 3.9 main event while the Anecdote is still locked. Once it opens, read its current tasks and rewards before claiming any guide has a complete puzzle solution. The publisher has confirmed the dates and prizes, but not an exact five-star Psychube name or every step needed to collect it.
