Worst Class Ever release date: Why Steam Says November 9 and Dev Says 10

Worst Class Ever release date is currently inconsistent across its official sources. Funcore Games says the full game launches on 10 November 2026, but the Steam storefront displays 9 November 2026. Both dates are public, so it’s not accurate to present one as an undisputed worldwide launch.

The studio has also said the free Steam Next Fest demo would be removed on 3 November, ahead of the paid release. The demo’s six-player format is not the same as the expanded full version, which the developer says will allow up to eight players.

Funcore Games repeated 10 November in both its late-October launch announcement and its 2 November demo notice. However, the base game’s current Steam product page shows 9 November.

Neither official source has publicly explained the different date. The Worst Class Ever release date should therefore be checked again on the live Steam page before you make plans to play at a particular local hour. The publisher hasn’t publicly verified a timezone explanation that would settle the difference.

Is Worst Class Ever available to download now?

The full game remains listed as coming soon in the current Steam material. Check its purchase or install button for actual availability. A planned release date doesn’t guarantee the game is playable at midnight, and there is no confirmed UK unlock time or GBP launch price in the announcements supplied so far.

The Worst Class Ever release date concerns the paid full game, not the earlier free demo. You can’t assume a free trial remains available just because an older storefront screenshot still shows a Download Demo area.

When did the free demo end?

Funcore Games announced on 2 November that it would take down the Steam demo on 3 November 2026. The company said more than 600,000 people had played during Steam Next Fest and described it as the event’s most-played demo, figures reported by the studio.

That notice isn’t proof of 600,000 simultaneous players, and the game should not be described as permanently free. If a separate demo page still displays a download button, verify whether installation works before advising anyone that the trial remains accessible.

How many players are in the full game?

The demo describes one teacher against five students, six players total. The developer has promised a maximum of eight players in the full release, plus custom lobby settings for player numbers, teacher count and item spawns.

This is an asymmetric party game where students blend into crowds of NPC pupils and try to prank a teacher without being spotted. The Worst Class Ever release date matters to groups because the new eight-player lobbies are part of the full version, not a guarantee about the old demo.

What else is included at launch?

Funcore Games has announced a female homeroom teacher, more prank items, as many as ten classroom themes and up to twenty custom room settings. It also promises network improvements and LAN support. The full list of twenty settings hasn’t been published.

Does the demo save carry over?

No verified developer statement promises save or cosmetics transfer from the demo to the full game. The Worst Class Ever release date conflict also doesn’t establish any early-access code, console launch, Game Pass deal or crossplay feature. Those should only be reported when the developer confirms them.

The Worst Class Ever release date remains disputed: Funcore Games says 10 November and Steam’s public page shows 9 November. Keep an eye on the official store and announcements as the dates approach rather than treating an unsupported midnight conversion as fact.
