Rainbow Six Siege Y11S4 ranked maps are changing to a stable pool of approximately 15 maps in Year 11 Season 4. Ubisoft says nine of those maps are also in professional competition, but the full 15-map list hasn’t been announced.
This is a change from regular Ranked map rotation. Instead of learning a different set each time the pool changes, players will be able to practise on a more stable group of locations. Here’s exactly what the developer has confirmed.
When will Rainbow Six Siege Y11S4 ranked maps change?

The change is planned for Y11S4. Ubisoft discussed it in the November 2 Community Checkpoint, but the announcement isn’t a patch release. It doesn’t give an exact start day or maintenance hour, and it shouldn’t be reported as already live on November 5.
When the new season launches, check the map list in Ranked and the official season notes. The older October Y11S3 map list describes the previous rotation, not the upcoming fixed pool.
How many Rainbow Six Siege Y11S4 ranked maps will be available?
Ubisoft’s confirmed figure is 15 maps, including nine maps used in professional competition. The other six offer variety beyond the competitive selection. Ranked will therefore have more maps than the pro circuit alone.
Ubisoft hasn’t published the full Y11S4 list. For useful context, its October mid-season update identified the nine current pro-pool maps as Bank, Border, Chalet, Clubhouse, Villa, Fortress, Kafe, Lair and Nighthaven Labs. Ubisoft says the new Ranked pool will include the nine maps being played in professional competition, but it has not individually reconfirmed every Y11S4 entry or named the other maps.
For Rainbow Six Siege Y11S4 ranked maps, the planned pool size is approximately 15. Use the October pro-pool list as context, not a substitute for the final Y11S4 lineup; Ubisoft could still update the competitive maps or other entries.

Will the Rainbow Six Siege Y11S4 ranked maps rotation stop?
Yes, routine rotation is the element Ubisoft plans to remove. A stable pool means your favourite practice maps shouldn’t keep dropping in and out on a regular calendar. That gives players more time to learn defence sites, attack entries and common rotations.
This doesn’t guarantee that every map will appear equally often in matchmaking, and it doesn’t prevent emergency changes if a map has a serious problem. Ubisoft hasn’t supplied new selection percentages or detailed pick-and-ban rules with the announcement.
Are Rainbow Six Siege Y11S4 ranked maps identical to pro-league maps?
No. Ubisoft says nine maps will come from the professional pool, with the remainder taking the expected total to around 15. Ubisoft is taking inspiration from competitive play without copying the entire professional pool into Ranked.
The distinction matters if you’re watching esports for strategies. A professional attack on a map can be useful to study, but tournament formats and ordinary Ranked matchmaking don’t always use the same rules or selection procedures.
What happens to current Ranked maps?
The current Y11S3 Ranked map lineup remains a separate historical list. There’s no reason to treat it as the announced Y11S4 pool. Maps could stay, leave or return, but only Ubisoft’s eventual list will settle which ones.
If a map you enjoy isn’t in the present rotation, that doesn’t prove it will be back in Y11S4. Equally, a map appearing now isn’t automatically guaranteed a place in the future 15. The confirmed change is the stable structure, not the final list of entries.
How to prepare for Rainbow Six Siege Y11S4 ranked maps
For now, concentrate on skills that work everywhere: scouting sites, droning before entering, controlling angles and using reinforcements to support the team. Those skills matter whether the final pool includes a familiar map or somewhere you rarely play.
Once Ubisoft confirms the 15-map list, look for the maps you don’t know well and practise their bomb sites. A stable selection should make that practice more useful throughout the season because the routine rotation won’t keep changing the target.
Do Rainbow Six Siege Y11S4 ranked maps affect Legend Division?
Legend Division is already live for qualifying Champions, and it has its own entry requirements. The announcement about the Y11S4 map pool doesn’t remove the existing Legend requirements or announce a new Legend-specific map list. Use the separate Legend Division guide for eligibility.
Ubisoft also has other Y11S4 plans: Hostage and Secure Area will return to Quick Match, and Half Reinforcements will be tested in a limited Testing Grounds session. Those are different modes and should not be confused with the planned Ranked pool.
For Rainbow Six Siege Y11S4 ranked maps, the useful takeaway is simple: a stable pool of approximately 15 maps, including nine pro-league maps, without routine rotation. Anything more specific about the list or release timing still needs an official announcement.
