Pokémon TCG Live Mega Rayquaza ex Learning Lab is a new guided Classroom arriving on 5 November 2026 alongside Mega Evolution: Delta Reign. It teaches players to use the free Mega Rayquaza ex deck from the Battle Pass through guided lessons, puzzles and a full practice match. You can then take that deck into Casual or Ranked games.

The Classroom lets you learn the new deck without immediately facing another player. The lessons and puzzles build towards a full practice match, so you can get a feel for Mega Rayquaza ex before trying Casual or Ranked games.

The Pokémon TCG Live Mega Rayquaza ex Learning Lab becomes available with Delta Reign on Thursday, 5 November. The expansion’s announced digital release is 5:00 PM GMT in the UK. Pokémon specifically says to head to the Learning Lab and try its new Mega Rayquaza ex Classroom.

This is a TCG Live feature, not a Pokémon TCG Pocket Solo Battle. Pokémon TCG Pocket has a separate Mega Rayquaza ex gift deck. If you’re trying to find this classroom, make sure the game you opened is Pokémon TCG Live and that the expansion launch time has passed.

How to get the free Mega Rayquaza ex deck

The Pokémon TCG Live Mega Rayquaza ex Learning Lab is closely connected to the Delta Reign Battle Pass. Every Trainer can claim a free Mega Rayquaza ex deck at the start of the new pass, which also begins on 5 November. That makes the new classroom immediately relevant: you can learn a deck you’ve just received rather than having to invent one.

Open the Battle Pass after it launches and check the opening Mega Rayquaza ex reward. The developer confirms the deck is free, but the October announcement does not provide screenshots showing every button in the new claim process. Follow the claim indicators shown in your version of the client, then check your decks.

What happens in the Pokémon TCG Live Mega Rayquaza ex Learning Lab?

Pokémon says the Pokémon TCG Live Mega Rayquaza ex Learning Lab starts with guided lessons and includes puzzles that ask you to put what you’ve learned into practice. The sequence finishes with a full practice match using the Mega Rayquaza ex deck. It’s a step beyond simply showing you a deck list.

Classroom stageOfficially announced purpose
Guided lessonsLearn to pilot the Mega Rayquaza ex deck
PuzzlesTest your understanding through in-game challenges
Final lessonPlay a full practice match
After learningUse your deck in Casual or Ranked

Pokémon hasn’t released the new puzzle boards or move sequences ahead of the launch. Check each puzzle’s displayed cards and objective in the Classroom rather than relying on a solution written before anyone could play it.

Can you use Mega Rayquaza ex in Casual and Ranked?

Yes. After completing the Pokémon TCG Live Mega Rayquaza ex Learning Lab lessons, Pokémon says players can move into Casual or Ranked games with that same deck. The digital Delta Reign cards are available across all TCG Live modes from launch, so the learning content is not the only place you’ll be able to use Mega Rayquaza ex.

You can choose the final practice match for another run-through, or move into Casual battles when you’re ready to play other people. Ranked is available too, with separate Mega Rayquaza sleeves, box and coin rewards for reaching its Leagues.

How the Learning Lab differs from Build & Battle

The Pokémon TCG Live Mega Rayquaza ex Learning Lab focuses on one ready-made deck. Build & Battle is different: it gives you a random 40-card seed deck and four boosters, then lets you edit your deck during a five-match run.

The November Build & Battle event begins with Delta Reign on 5 November and runs until 19 November. Its free plays follow a weekly schedule. Those entries are separate from the free Mega Rayquaza ex Battle Pass deck, so don’t expect a Build & Battle token to unlock the Learning Lab.

Pokémon TCG Live Mega Rayquaza ex Learning Lab FAQ

Is the Mega Rayquaza ex Learning Lab free?

Pokémon announces the Classroom alongside a deck that every Trainer can claim free from the Battle Pass. It does not name a separate Classroom purchase price in the announcement. Check the live Learn section when the update arrives.

Are the puzzle solutions available before launch?

The official announcement lists guided lessons, puzzles and the full practice match, but does not give the actual puzzle setups or winning moves. Those must be checked against the game after 5 November.

Can the practice deck be used in Ranked?

Yes. Pokémon says that after learning with the deck, players can take Mega Rayquaza ex into Casual and Ranked modes.

The Pokémon TCG Live Mega Rayquaza ex Learning Lab is a good starting point if you want to use the free deck rather than simply collect it. Try the guided lessons after 5 November, then move into a practice match or take the deck into Casual and Ranked when you’re ready.
