Volleyball Legends Challenger Tokens are earned in the limited Cursed Tournament from October 24 to October 31, 2026. Enter the lobby’s Cursed Portal during a gate, win 1v1 matches and use the event currency in the limited Tournament Shop. You can also climb the leaderboard while spending your tokens, because rankings track the total earned rather than the amount left unspent.
Make every two-hour gate count. The tournament uses 1v1 matches, three strikes per run and an event leaderboard that keeps your cumulative score even after spending. Below are the times, rewards, bonus milestones and purchase options.
Where to earn tokens
Volleyball Legends Challenger Tokens are available only through tournament gameplay and its win milestones, not through normal Ranked matches. Gates open at 6 AM and 6 PM Eastern for two hours. From October 25 in Britain those windows are 10 AM to noon GMT and 10 PM to midnight GMT. A gate closed outside these windows is expected.
Win milestone bonuses
Volleyball Legends Challenger Tokens come from every match won. Extra bonuses appear at five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five, thirty and forty victories. The announcement does not provide reliable amounts for each win or milestone, so check the tournament interface for the payout you actually earned.
Match rules and strikes
Volleyball Legends Challenger Tokens are earned in 1v1 matches played to ten points, with a two-point lead required. Three losses end your run, and leaving a match counts as one strike. You receive one free retry per gate, or can spend 2,000 Gems on paid re-entry. The next gate begins a fresh run.
Leaderboard scoring versus spending
The leaderboard counts every Challenger Token you’ve earned. You never lose already earned leaderboard score by spending in the shop or starting a new run. Your available spending balance is separate, so earning 5,000 and spending 1,500 leaves 3,500 to shop with while the ranking continues to count the full 5,000.
Cosmetics and shop prices
Volleyball Legends Challenger Tokens can be exchanged for The Beat of Madness effect at 16,000, Cosmic Horror player card at 10,000, Soul Catch emote at 6,000, BOO and EVIL titles at 3,000 each, and The Ancient One ball at 1,500. Spin and Gem packs are cheaper options and have multiple quantities.
Lucky Spin and Gem packs
Volleyball Legends Challenger Tokens buy Lucky Style Spins in packs of 1, 3, 5 or 10 starting at 400. Lucky Ability Spin packs start at 300, and Gem packs of 250, 500 or 1,000 start at 700. Those are starting costs, not prices for every pack size. Check each offer before confirming a purchase.
Fastest sustainable farming
Volleyball Legends Challenger Tokens are easiest to farm when you avoid unnecessary strike losses. Play defensively when behind rather than quitting, and practise serves and receives before the gate opens. Buying re-entry for 2,000 Gems can be costly; use the free retry first and assess whether another run is worth the price.
Leaderboard ranking prizes
Volleyball Legends Challenger Tokens also determine your leaderboard prize tier. The Top 10,000 gets the Cursed Top 10K title. Top 1,000 adds the Cursed 1K Flame Jersey and Ghost Skull ball. Top 100 adds a Cursed 100 Flame Jersey and The Cursed 100 effect, while first place gets an exclusive title, jersey and developer-made player card. Higher tiers also earn lower-tier prizes.
When tokens expire
Volleyball Legends Challenger Tokens remain spendable after tournament play ends: the Cursed Tournament closes October 31 at 11:30 AM Eastern (3:30 PM GMT), but the Tournament Shop remains open until November 7 at 10:30 AM Eastern (3:30 PM GMT). Your tokens reset with the next tournament, so use this event’s balance before the shop deadline.
Troubleshooting missing tokens
Volleyball Legends Challenger Tokens decrease in your wallet after a purchase, but that is different from losing leaderboard points. If you cannot collect more, verify you entered through the Cursed Portal during an active gate, have not exhausted all three strikes, and still have an available retry. Normal Ranked games do not pay this limited currency.
Which rewards are worth saving for
Volleyball Legends Challenger Tokens help you buy a specific cosmetic without sacrificing your leaderboard finish. Start with lower-cost items if time is running out, or save for the more expensive effect if you’re earning enough wins.
