Storage Hunters Open World Halloween 2026 is running on Roblox from October 17 to October 31, bringing a spooky town, four Candy-powered auction garages and limited Halloween mutations. The new event gives you ways to earn seasonal currency without spending every session bidding on ordinary lockers.
Candy is the main change. You earn it by taking on zombies, digging graves, completing quests and going Trick-or-Treating, then use it to pay the entrance fee for the Halloween garages. There’s also a Pumpkin Wagon in the Auto Dealership, but you’ll need to buy that with normal cash before October 24.
Storage Hunters Open World Halloween 2026 dates
Storage Hunters Open World Halloween 2026 began on October 17 and is scheduled to end on October 31 at 7pm UTC. That’s 7pm GMT in the UK, after the clocks change on October 25. The Pumpkin Wagon’s featured shop run ends a week earlier, on October 24.

When the main event ends, the Halloween-exclusive auction garages and their special item rolls will no longer be available. Other changes from the update, including extra plot upgrades, are part of the permanent game and aren’t tied to the October 31 cutoff.
How to earn Halloween Candy
Storage Hunters Open World Halloween 2026 introduces Candy as the entrance currency for four new auctions. You can collect it from several activities around Halloween town, including Trick-or-Treating at night and taking defeated zombies to the Grave Digger.
| Activity | What you do |
|---|---|
| Trick-or-Treating | Visit lit houses at night after getting a bag from the Witch |
| Zombie deliveries | Collect defeated zombies and bring them to the Grave Digger |
| Town defence | Survive five waves of zombies |
| Grave digging | Use a shovel to search graves for rewards |
| Headless Horseman quests | Complete seasonal objectives for Candy and other prizes |
Head to the Witch near the Halloween town entrance for a Candy bag, then look for houses with their lights on during in-game nighttime. When you’ve knocked at one, its lights go out temporarily, so move to another house. During daylight, you can turn your attention to zombie deliveries, quests or digging in the graveyard.
Storage Hunters Open World Halloween 2026 garage costs
Storage Hunters Open World Halloween 2026 includes four special auction garages in the graveyard. Each requires Candy before you can enter, with the price rising by 10 Candy per garage. The fee is separate from any cash you’ll need to win the actual auction.
| Garage | Candy to enter |
|---|---|
| Halloween Garage 1 | 10 |
| Halloween Garage 2 | 20 |
| Halloween Garage 3 | 30 |
| Halloween Garage 4 | 40 |
You can enter the more expensive Halloween garages without having to work through each cheaper event tier first. If you’ve already saved 40 Candy and enough cash to bid, you can head straight to Garage 4. Otherwise, the 10-Candy entrance is a lower-cost way to try the event auctions.
Halloween mutations and collectible items
The Halloween garages have their own limited mutation pool: Spiderwebbed (5×), Blood Moon (12.5×) and Spirited (25×). These are value multipliers applied to the loot you bring back from an event auction. Blood Moon is the middle-tier Halloween mutation; Cobwebbed is an older, separate mutation, not the name of this new reward.
The three Halloween mutations are limited to loot from the graveyard garages through October 31. If you’re collecting seasonal items, review the Halloween collection index between auctions to see which entries you still need. Pay attention to an item’s base value before bidding heavily: even a strong mutation is less useful on a very cheap item.

Headless Horseman quests
Find the Headless Horseman near the church in Halloween town. His 30 quests offer Candy, Diamonds and other event rewards, with objectives involving the Halloween activities and auctions. Check your current job before bidding because some higher-tier garage completions can contribute to lower-tier quest requirements.
Work through these jobs while you’re collecting Candy. A trip to the graveyard can put you near both a seasonal garage and places to dig, while zombie and town defence tasks provide something different when you’re waiting for nighttime Trick-or-Treating.
How to get the Pumpkin Wagon
Storage Hunters Open World Halloween 2026 also adds the Pumpkin Wagon to the Auto Dealership’s featured vehicle slot. It uses cash instead of Candy. Current game guides list a purchase price of $115,000 and a higher net-worth unlock threshold of approximately $230,000.
The vehicle is available only until October 24 in the featured rotation. If you want to add it to your collection, visit the dealership before that date rather than assuming it will remain there until the Halloween garages close.
Other changes in the October update
Away from the Halloween town, the update makes some permanent changes to your base. Plot upgrades now allow construction up to five floors, and extra capacity upgrades let shops hold more displayed items. The map has been refreshed to help players navigate the growing number of locations.
New Time Master titles are connected to the Time Capsule and older collected items. These unlocks sit alongside the Halloween event but aren’t earned using Candy, so you can keep working on them even after the seasonal auction doors close.
What to do first during Storage Hunters Open World Halloween 2026
If you’re joining Storage Hunters Open World Halloween 2026 now, start by finding the Halloween town and speaking to the seasonal characters. Get a Candy bag from the Witch, check the Headless Horseman quests and try one of the cheaper graveyard garages after you’ve built up enough currency.
After that, plan around the two deadlines. October 24 is the important date for the Pumpkin Wagon, and October 31 is the closing date for the main event. The garages are where you’ll find the limited items, while quests and the other Halloween activities help you afford more auction visits.
