Storage Hunters Headless Horseman: Location, Halloween Quests and Rewards

Storage Hunters Headless Horseman is the Halloween quest giver standing outside the church in the spooky town. He has 30 seasonal quests, including objectives linked to the four graveyard auction garages, and awards Candy, Diamonds and other prizes as you work through the chain.

The trick to making progress is preparing for the garage objectives. These auctions charge Candy just to enter, and winning the contents still costs cash. Once you can afford a higher tier, completing it may also count towards a cheaper garage quest, saving you another trip.

Storage Hunters Headless Horseman location

Find the Storage Hunters Headless Horseman outside the church in Halloween town. Look for a character with a red exclamation mark overhead, the same marker used for quest NPCs elsewhere on the map. Walk over, interact and read the current objective before setting off to collect items or enter auctions.

The church is close to the Halloween graveyard, where the four seasonal auction garages are located. You won’t find the Horseman at the permanent Shipyard or Junk Yard, so head towards the Halloween part of the map first.

How to start the 30 Headless Horseman quests

Speak to the Storage Hunters Headless Horseman and accept the Halloween task in his dialogue. Complete its requirement, return to claim your reward, and take the next quest. There are 30 jobs to finish in the event chain, giving you reasons to spend time in the graveyard and visit other Halloween activities.

Some tasks involve winning auctions in the Halloween garages. Remember that the entrance fee uses Candy, while the bidding uses normal cash. You’ll need both if a quest asks for an auction win rather than merely visiting the area.

Halloween garage fees and quest progress

The Storage Hunters Headless Horseman sends you into the seasonal garages. Garage 1 costs 10 Candy, Garage 2 costs 20, Garage 3 costs 30 and Garage 4 costs 40. You pay to enter and then bid against NPCs for the auction contents.

Garage Entry cost What to remember
Halloween Garage 1 10 Candy Cheapest quest-related auction
Halloween Garage 2 20 Candy Can count for lower-tier objectives
Halloween Garage 3 30 Candy Higher-tier quest progress
Halloween Garage 4 40 Candy Can satisfy lower-tier garage jobs

If you’re already winning Garage 4 auctions, they can also count for Horseman jobs involving cheaper garages. You may not need to spend Candy at Garage 1 again just to move a quest counter. Check the objective after each win before paying for another entrance.

How to earn more Candy between quests

Storage Hunters Headless Horseman quests reward Candy, but you’ll usually want another source as well. The Witch offers a Trick-or-Treating bag for visiting lit houses during in-game nighttime, and the Grave Digger handles both zombie deliveries and town defence.

A defeated zombie delivered to the Grave Digger pays 10 Candy. His five-wave defence activity runs about once an hour and offers rewards for surviving the attack. Grave digging is another option near the event area, although not every grave contains a prize.

Check your current Horseman task before heading out. A trip to gather Candy may also help you complete an objective, letting you collect both rewards in the same session.

Storage Hunters Headless Horseman quest rewards

The Storage Hunters Headless Horseman chain contains 30 quests. The rewards include Halloween Candy, Diamonds and other event prizes. They’re tied to individual jobs, so the amount you receive depends on the task you’ve completed rather than a single fixed payment for every quest.

Have a look at the displayed reward before spending all your auction cash. Some objectives are inexpensive to complete, while the higher garage tiers can require more Candy and enough cash to win several auctions.

Fastest way to finish Horseman quests

Read the current Storage Hunters Headless Horseman objective first. If it calls for auctions, pick the most useful garage tier you can afford, remembering that a higher tier can contribute to lower-tier goals. If you’re short on Candy, spend some time on zombie deliveries or nighttime Trick-or-Treating before your next auction.

Keep a little cash in reserve for the bidding itself. Spending your entire balance on vehicle upgrades might leave you able to pay the Candy entrance fee but unable to win anything inside the garage.

When does the Headless Horseman leave?

The Storage Hunters Headless Horseman is part of Halloween 2026, which ends on October 31 at 7pm UTC (7pm GMT in the UK). The four Halloween garages and limited mutation drops follow the same event window, so allow time to complete the quest chain before the seasonal town closes.

The Pumpkin Wagon is a separate limited vehicle that leaves the featured Auto Dealership on October 24. It is bought with cash rather than Halloween Candy, so you can save for it without spending the currency needed for Horseman auction tasks.
