Rocket League Haunted Hallows Modes for Halloween 2026 include Heatseeker: Haunted, Spooky Cube and Up to No Good. They’re Arcade playlists running during the Five Nights at Freddy’s Haunted Hallows event, which ends on November 2. None plays quite like a normal Rocket League match. Heatseeker sends the ball towards goal automatically, Spooky Cube makes bounces unpredictable, and Up to No Good turns a floating ball into a fight over who gets the last touch before it lands.
The Rocket League Haunted Hallows Modes are worth trying if you’re tired of standard matches, but check your event challenges before queuing. Foxy’s Topper requires Competitive Centers or Clears, so you won’t finish it by playing one of these Arcade modes.
All Rocket League Haunted Hallows Modes in 2026

| Playlist | What changes | Best thing to remember |
|---|---|---|
| Heatseeker: Haunted | The ball seeks the opposition goal after being touched and speeds up with each exchange | Stay ready for quick returns and ricochets |
| Spooky Cube | The ball becomes a fast, bouncing pumpkin-shaped cube | Anticipate unpredictable changes of direction |
| Up to No Good | A balloon-like ball must clear the fog-wall height before it can score; the last-touch team earns points when it lands | Points grow with airtime, so don’t rush every drop |
The Rocket League Haunted Hallows Modes appear in Rocket League’s event Arcade selection, with availability controlled by the current playlist rotation. Psyonix names all three in its October 22 announcement, but does not give a separate fixed daily timetable for each. If one isn’t displayed, check the current Arcade menu rather than assuming it was removed permanently.
Rocket League Haunted Hallows Modes: How Heatseeker Haunted works
In standard Heatseeker, hitting the ball sends it automatically towards the opposite goal. Each player touch or backboard contact increases the ball’s speed, so long rallies become frantic. If the ball hits the backboard instead of going in, it can fire back towards your own net. The usual Heatseeker target is seven goals, although the live Halloween playlist’s displayed match rules should take priority if different.
For Heatseeker: Haunted, get into a defensive position early and pay attention to the ball’s next return path. Avoid charging forward after every touch: a ball that looked safely headed towards the other goal can come straight back. Teammates can split duties, with one ready to intercept while the other looks for an opening closer to midfield. Use clear communication if you’re queuing together.
A rally can suddenly turn into a shot at your own net. That’s the fun of Heatseeker, and the reason somebody needs to stay ready in defence.
How to play Spooky Cube in Rocket League Haunted Hallows Modes
Spooky Cube replaces the normal round ball with a bouncing pumpkin cube. Psyonix’s earlier official mode description says the pumpkin moves quickly and its unusual shape creates unpredictable bounces. It can shoot off in a different direction after hitting the floor or wall, making ordinary dribbling harder to judge.
Don’t drive directly underneath it while waiting for a predictable bounce. Leave yourself room to react, keep an eye on the angles near the corners and use short corrections instead of committing to a huge aerial too early. Of the Rocket League Haunted Hallows Modes, Spooky Cube is where reading the next bounce matters more than setting up a neat passing sequence.
You still score by getting the cube into the other team’s goal. Its shape and speed make it difficult to control for long, so positioning for the second bounce is often more useful than chasing it head-on at every touch.
Rocket League Haunted Hallows Modes: Up to No Good scoring
Up to No Good is the strangest of the Rocket League Haunted Hallows Modes. Psyonix first introduced it in 2025 and brought it back for 2026. Forget scoring into the net: once the ball is active for scoring, the last team to touch it before it hits the ground earns points. But there’s a catch that’s easy to miss on your first game.
At the start, there’s a fog-wall threshold above the field. The ball has to bounce above that height before it can score. Once it’s scorable, a visual effect shows which team touched it last. It shoots upwards when hit, floats down like a balloon and gains point value the longer it stays airborne. Lightning around the ball indicates that its value has increased. The ball also stays in play after someone scores, rather than resetting for a normal kickoff.
If your team touched it last, protect that advantage and let it land when the point is worth taking. If an opponent touched it last, keep it up and get your own touch before it hits the floor. Longer airtime brings more points, but gambling on another hit is risky if the opponents are waiting underneath. This is about knowing when to leave the ball alone as much as knowing when to hit it.
Of all the Rocket League Haunted Hallows Modes, Up to No Good needs the most explanation. Psyonix described these fog-wall and airtime rules in its original 2025 technical patch notes, and the mode returned for the 2026 event.
Do Rocket League Haunted Hallows Modes count towards free FNAF rewards?
That depends on the challenge’s wording. Some Haunted Hallows tasks specify Online Matches and may progress in eligible online playlists, but others restrict the mode. The Foxy Topper objective specifically requires 87 Centers or Clears in Competitive Matches. These Arcade playlists should not be treated as Competitive queues merely because they are part of the Halloween event.
The Faz-Token Wheels require you to score a goal and win in five separate Online Matches. Other tasks include ball touches, dodges, demolitions and XP. Open Challenges → Haunted Hallows before you start and track the objective you actually want. The full FNAF challenge guide includes the requirements for all ten tasks.
When do Rocket League Haunted Hallows Modes end?
The Haunted Hallows promotion closes on Monday 2 November 2026 at 9 AM Pacific, or 5 PM GMT in the UK. Psyonix does not promise that every named Arcade playlist stays visible for that entire window, so use the current in-game selection to decide what you can play today. The free cosmetic challenges share the promotional deadline, while the paid FNAF Item Shop items are separate purchases.
If you’re using Rocket League Haunted Hallows Modes to work towards rewards, revisit the challenge menu after a match rather than assuming participation alone unlocks the item. In particular, return to Competitive for Foxy and finish any completed but unclaimed tasks before November 2.
