Nine Pillars of Peace Quest in Genshin Impact is a permanent Liyue search problem with a specific unlock or completion route. Nine Pillars of Peace is the large Cuijue Slope quest tied to fully upgrading the Liyue Statue of The Seven. You need all nine Stones of Remembrance earned from Geo Statue levels before every pillar can be opened.
For Nine Pillars of Peace, the important part is separating the visible destination from the progression flag behind it. In Liyue, reaching Nine Pillars of Peace physically does not always mean the quest, mechanism or reward is ready, so the order below avoids unnecessary backtracking.

Nine Pillars of Peace Quest in Genshin Impact becomes much easier once the required progression is in place. Check these conditions before committing to the route, especially if your map already shows Nine Pillars of Peace but the interaction itself is not working.
- Collect enough Geoculi to raise the Liyue Statues of The Seven to their maximum level.
- Receive all nine Stones of Remembrance from the statue-level rewards.
- Travel to the nine pillars surrounding Cuijue Slope.
Step-by-step route
- Insert one Stone of Remembrance into each of the nine pillars.
- Return to the central ruins after every pillar has been activated.
- Enter the opened doorway and defeat the enemies inside, including the Ruin Hunter encounter.
- Open the final chests and collect the Dull Ring.
- Take the Dull Ring to Liyue Harbor and choose a buyer for the final reward trade.
During Nine Pillars of Peace Quest in Genshin Impact, keep the relevant quest or map layer visible instead of navigating only by the surface marker. Around Nine Pillars of Peace, Liyue uses underground routes and progression-gated interactions heavily, and the intended path often becomes obvious only after the previous step has registered.
Each Stone of Remembrance is consumed by a pillar, so the quest cannot be finished with an incomplete Statue of The Seven.
The interior fight includes enhancement effects that can make the enemies more dangerous until the related stones are dealt with.
Why it can still look locked or incomplete
If one pillar remains inactive, count your remaining Stones of Remembrance and check Liyue Statue level. A missing Geoculus elsewhere in the region is often the real blocker.
If Nine Pillars of Peace Quest in Genshin Impact seems stuck, compare your current objective with the prerequisite list before assuming the game has bugged. The most common failure point around Nine Pillars of Peace is reaching the correct location one quest step too early or solving only part of a multi-stage mechanism.
Useful details before you leave the area
The Dull Ring is the sale item obtained at the end of the ruins rather than a reusable quest key.
Nine Pillars of Peace Quest in Genshin Impact is permanent content, so there is no reason to rush past useful waypoints or shortcuts once the main blocker is cleared. Registering the local teleport and checking newly opened rooms saves a surprising amount of time when later quests send you back to Nine Pillars of Peace.
Nine Pillars of Peace Quest in Genshin Impact is easiest to finish when the prerequisite and the local mechanism are treated as one connected route.
Common questions
Why is Nine Pillars of Peace not working for me?
For Nine Pillars of Peace Quest in Genshin Impact, the usual causes are incomplete prerequisite progression, approaching from the wrong map layer, or missing one local interaction. Work backward from the current Nine Pillars of Peace quest text rather than redoing unrelated exploration elsewhere in Liyue.
Is Nine Pillars of Peace permanent?
Yes. Nine Pillars of Peace is part of permanent Liyue content rather than a limited-time event. Later game updates can adjust interface details around Nine Pillars of Peace, but its underlying quest or exploration route remains available to accounts that have not completed it yet.
What should I do next?
After clearing the ruins, sell the Dull Ring to one of the available Liyue Harbor buyers and finish the quest rather than leaving the ring unused in your inventory.
After Nine Pillars of Peace Quest in Genshin Impact, the next useful move is to finish the nearby follow-up content while the route is fresh. HoYoverse keeps current game notices on the official Genshin Impact website if a later update changes any interface or progression detail around Nine Pillars of Peace.
