Tales of Arise Gets a New Trailer

Today, BANDAI NAMCO revealed a new trailer for Tales of Arise, the latest title in the acclaimed franchise, months after its latest update.

The trailer, which you can watch below, shows a little bit more of the game, and its protagonists, Alphen and Shionne, as well as their motivations. It also reveals that we can expect more news about the title in the Spring.

This release marks the first official announcement for the IP in almost a year. Since the game was delayed after the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the description of the video, Bandai wrote ”Spring is just around the corner, and we’ve been working hard to make it unforgettable!”

Tales of Arise was first revealed during E3 2019 and promises to revitalize the acclaimed franchise, with an upgraded combat system and much more.

”On the planet Dahna, reverence has always been given to Rena, the planet in the sky, as a land of the righteous and divine. Stories handed down for generations became truth and masked reality for the people of Dahna. For 300 years, Rena has ruled over Dahna, pillaging the planet of its resources and stripping people of their dignity and freedom.
Our tale begins with two people, born on different worlds, each looking to change their fate and create a new future. Featuring a new cast of characters, updated combat, and classic Tales of gameplay mechanics, experience the next chapter in the world-famous Tale of series, Tales of Arise.”

Tales of Arise will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, but now, years after its announcement, there are chances that its production may have shifted focus to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
