Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart Release Date Confirmed

The release date for Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart has been confirmed. Slated for a release on June 11th 2021, the Ratchet and Clank franchise will make its debut on the PS5.
Developers Insomniac Games focused on delivering a standalone story that can be enjoyed by long time fans as well as newcomers alike. Aside from that, the Carbonox armor from Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando (2003) and the Pixelizer from Ratchet & Clank (2016) will be returning in the game as pre-order bonuses. Both of them have been confirmed to have received upgrades to high-definition material, better lighting responses, as well as ray-traced reflections.
The digital deluxe edition of the game includes, aside from the base game, 5 additional armor sets, 20 Raritanium to get a head start on upgrading weapons, a sticker pack to use in the brand new photo mode (a first for the series), as well as a digital artbook and a digital soundtrack. For physical (and digital) standard edition version owners, all these bonuses can be purchased through the store as an upgrade bundle.
In addition to all the information about the release, the developers also teased the name of the new Lombax.
“And yes, we know you are asking for the new Lombax’s name. And it’s not fair that we put her in the art-work and aren’t telling you yet. Hang in there, you’ll be feeling rosy soon.”
It is safe to speculate that her name is something rose-related. Might even be Rose or Rosy!

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is now available for pre-order. The standard edition costs $69.99, and the digital deluxe edition costs $79.99.
