It’s been more than 5 years since the fans of the Mario Kart series saw a new main release hit the market, something almost unbelievable for one of Nintendo’s biggest franchises.

But fans may start feeling hopeful since a new leak surfaced recently in ResetEra, claiming that the new racing title will be released later this year. That, together with the fact that Nintendo plans on releasing its new console, the Nintendo Switch Pro later this year, makes the release window plausible.

These aren’t the only pieces of info that seemingly leaked about Mario’s upcoming racing title, since a few months prior, new information about the roster and more started to surface online and, man, they are something!

The leaker said that the game would be released in the second half of 2021.
