From the Nintendo Direct, we got a small look into the Expansion Pass DLC that will soon be available for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

From the trailer, we didn’t get to see much of the actual gameplay besides some screenshots of major characters from Hyrule Warriors, including (of course) Zelda and Link.

The Expansion Pass will include a Purchase Bonus starting May 28, and afterwards will have Wave 1 available in June and Wave 2 which will be available in November.

Among these two waves and the Purchase Bonus, you will be able to get a new weapon and costume for Link, as well as some other new items and an expanded roster, new challenges, and much more to look forward to for $19.99 USD.

According to Nintendo Life, Nintendo also released this statement after the Nintendo Direct:

Expand your quest to save Hyrule with upcoming downloadable content, as two waves of DLC are coming to the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass. Newly added characters, stages and more are all on their way, with the first wave coming in June and the second hitting in November. Players who purchase this Expansion Pass on Nintendo eShop for £17.99 / €19.99 will get both waves of DLC as they are released. They’ll also get an additional in-game weapon and costume for Link as a purchase bonus starting on 28th May. The Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass will be available for purchase shortly after the presentation.

All of the new Zelda content coming this month is certainly exciting, but unfortunately still no news on the Breath of the Wild sequel.
