To get Mamoswine in Pokemon Go, you’re going to have to meet two different requirements. The first of all is grabbing enough candy to evolve your Swinub or Piloswine all the way up to Mamoswine. This means you’ll need about 125 candy if you’re starting from Swinub, though you can knock 25 of that total off if you already have a Piloswine.

With the candy out of the way, you’ll also need a second item for evolving Piloswine into Mamoswine – a Sinnoh Stone.

Sinnoh stones are fairly annoying items to get ahold of. Your best bet for finding them is typically claiming research breakthroughs or completing trainer battles, which means it’s a real problem for players who don’t actively PVP.
