Marvel Rivals Night of Illusions Room 2: Scrapyard Code and Clues

Night of Illusions Room 2 is the Scrapyard mystery in Marvel Rivals, and the four-digit door code is 1982. Rocket Raccoon stands beside the locked door, and the clue that solves it is a torn document on the floor.

You need to investigate 10 clues, including a torn page called the Ripped Draft. The code is 1982. If the keypad won’t open yet, use the locations below to finish the clue search and inspect the torn page again.

Night of Illusions Room 2 Scrapyard Door Code

The correct Scrapyard security door code is 1-9-8-2. It’s a combination of the number fragments on the Ripped Draft, which you find on the floor near the bottom-right corner of the room. Input all four digits into the door’s keypad when the investigation allows it.

The page shows fragments of all four digits in order. Read them from left to right to get 1982.

Night of Illusions Room 2 unlocks after the Infirmary chapter. If you haven’t finished that first room, return to Nurse-Pool and give him the Blue Candy. The Scrapyard comes next automatically once the first chapter is complete.

Where to Find the 10 Scrapyard Clues

Work from the left wall towards the door and then the right side. The clue counter tracks 10 discoveries, but several objects have extra interactions, especially Rocket.

Left wall and floor

• Broken Pressure Gauge: leaning against the wall to Rocket Raccoon’s left.
• Handful of Rusted Gear Shafts: on the ground at the front-left of the scene.
• Dried-Out Marker: in the middle of the floor directly in front of Rocket.
• Tangled Wires: on the ground just to the right of the marker.

Rocket Raccoon’s hidden interactions

Check four parts of Rocket rather than clicking him once. Inspect his gun, foot and arm first, then look for another sparkling spot on his chest. The chest interaction is revealed as you work through the other details. Rocket’s appearance is part of the evidence, not simply decoration beside the door.

If you’re still short of clues, inspect Rocket’s chest after you’ve clicked his gun, foot and arm. The chest prompt is easy to miss.

Ripped Draft and right-hand tools

• Ripped Draft: on the floor towards the bottom-right corner. Read it once when you spot it, then inspect it again after completing Rocket’s interactions.
• Wrench: on the floor near the upper-right area of the scene.
• Screwdriver: just above the wrench on the ground.
• Welding Torch: towards the right corner of the Scrapyard. This tool also matters in the event’s final room.

The Ripped Draft is the important one to check twice. Its first interaction gives you part of the information, while revisiting it after looking over Rocket lets you finish reading the evidence that points to 1982.

How to Open the Security Door

After examining the objects, select the security door in the centre of the Scrapyard. It brings up the number-entry puzzle. Input 1982 in that order and confirm the answer. Once the door opens, go through Elsa Bloodstone’s closing dialogue to finish the chapter.

If the keypad stays locked, go back to the Ripped Draft after checking Rocket’s chest. The four digits on the paper should read 1982.

The other items still have a purpose: they help you advance the investigation, and the Welding Torch becomes one of the materials used later to repair the rifle in Unknown Space. It isn’t an alternate way to get through this door.

Night of Illusions Room 2 Reward

Completing Night of Illusions Room 2 earns the Trash to Treasure Emoji and opens Chapter 3, the Abandoned House. In that room you’ll collect blueprints, find Bone Pins to open a latch and put a dinosaur skeleton back together.

Night of Illusions Room 2 ends as soon as you’ve opened the door and finished Elsa’s dialogue. The next chapter moves to the Abandoned House, where the puzzle is rebuilding Devil Dinosaur.
