Genshin Impact 7.1 Events begin with the Moonchase flagship activity Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon and continue through combat, snowball and double-drop events across the update. Version 7.1 launches September 23, and its normal event rewards sit alongside the much larger sixth-anniversary gifts.
Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon
The Moonchase flagship event runs from September 24 to October 12 on the current schedule. It takes players to Yilong Wharf for a story involving Zhongli, Zibai and an old mystery, with three thaumaturge-themed minigames. The event calendar lists 950 Primogems and the free four-star Sword Silver Light among its headline rewards.
Predictive Victory Dynamics
Predictive Victory Dynamics is scheduled for October 12 to October 20. It is a combat-oriented event built around predicting and responding to battle conditions, with 420 Primogems shown on the current event calendar alongside normal upgrade materials.
Carefree Snowball Fight
Carefree Snowball Fight runs later in the version, currently scheduled for October 21 to November 2. The Snezhnaya activity uses snowball mechanics and score objectives, with 420 Primogems shown in the event schedule.
Overflowing Favor
Overflowing Favor runs from October 26 to November 2 and focuses on boosted Artifact farming. It is the familiar sort of short farming event where the value comes from doubled drops rather than a large story quest.
Stygian Onslaught September 2026 is live
The new Stygian Onslaught cycle opens September 30 and runs through November 3, with three consecutive boss fights and six difficulty levels. Clearing Normal, Advancing and Hard covers the full 450 Primogem reward track, while the upper difficulties add Dust of Enlightenment and Radiant Phantasm challenge rewards.
The first ten days are more time-sensitive than the overall event. Disturbance Outbreak runs through October 10 and lets Adventure Rank 45 players who clear Hard or above spend Resin for a selected Domain of Blessing while building Dire Prestige. After October 10, the bosses stay available but that Artifact-farming opportunity closes.

Anniversary Web and Login Events
The version also includes anniversary activities such as the Anniversary Memories Album and the sixth-anniversary login rewards. Those should be kept separate from the normal limited-event total because the 1,600 Primogems and 10 Intertwined Fates are anniversary gifts, not rewards from Silverwing or the smaller combat events.
The Free Silver Light Sword
Silver Light is the limited four-star weapon attached to the Moonchase flagship event. Its refinement material is Tea-Scented Tassel, so players who want the weapon at full event refinement should finish the event reward track rather than only claiming the first copy.
Version 7.1 Story Rewards
The new Archon Quest pays 620 Primogems according to the Version 7.1 program information and also unlocks the new limited five-star selector. That makes story progress unusually valuable during the patch even before normal event rewards are counted.
Where to Check Dates
The event schedule can be adjusted in live notices, especially by server. Genshin Impact’s official site and the in-game Events menu are the final place to check start times before planning the last day of an event.
Which Events Should You Prioritise?
The flagship event deserves first priority because it carries the limited Silver Light Sword and its refinement materials. Primogems from smaller events are valuable, but they can usually be earned quickly during their windows. A missed event weapon is much harder to replace once Version 7.1 ends.
Plan Around Overlapping Event Dates
Several events run at the same time rather than one after another. Silverwing remains active while later combat content opens, and the anniversary activities have their own windows. Check the in-game Events menu every few days instead of waiting for one event to disappear before looking at the next.
Keep Anniversary Gifts Separate From Event Totals
The 1,600 Primogems and ten Intertwined Fates are anniversary rewards, not normal limited-event payouts. Separating them makes Primogem planning much clearer and prevents inflated totals when comparing how much each Version 7.1 activity actually gives.
