Set to be one of the biggest fighting games of 2023, Street Fighter is making its return, and we can now confirm the Street Fighter 6 release date, as well as the character list and of course, the all-important information on how much it is set to cost.

After a whopping 7 years since the release of Street Fighter 5 in 2016, Street Fighter 6 is set to be one of the biggest releases this year, with fans eagerly waiting to see who will be entering gameplay this time round.

Without further ado, let’s jump right in and check out the details below.

Street Fighter 6 Release Date

The official Street Fighter 6 release date is just days away.

In the UK, the game is set to unlock at 12 am BST on Friday, June 2, 2023! It’s going to be a late one!

Ahead of the Street Fighter 6 Release Date for the physical game, it can be downloaded from your console’s digital store or through Steam, or gamers can pre-order or purchase a physical copy of the game on the official Street Fighter 6 release date.

Street Fighter 6 creators Capcom, have confirmed they won’t offer any early access as a bonus for purchasing special editions or pre-ordering the game. 

Street Fighter 6 will be available to play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam. 

Street Fighter 6 Cost

Players on the PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X and S, can purchase directly from the store, at a price of £54.99.

The physical copy of the game will cost you an additional £5, and as previously mentioned, does not contain any bonus material.

However, purchasing from most retailers, players will receive a free SteelBook, making the physical copy appealing – if you can wait!

PC Players can expect to pay £49.99.

Deluxe Edition

If you’re willing to splash the cash, a Deluxe Version of Street Fighter 6 will be available with the following bonuses:

  • Four additional characters (Rashid, A.K.I., Ed, and Akuma) 
  • Outfit 1 Colour 10 for Rashid, A.K.I., Ed, and Akuma 
  • 4,200 drive tickets (the new currency) 
  • Year 1 Character Pass 

However this will be priced at £79.99 on the PlayStation and Xbox, and £69.98 for PC players!

Go big or go home…

If the price is not an issue, the Unlimited Edtion will be available for £99.99 for Playstation and Xbox Players, or £89.99 for PC players.

The Unlimited Edtion will give players further bonuses, including:

  • Two additional outfits of Rashid, A.K.I., Ed, and Akuma
  • 7,700 drive tickets (replacing the 4,200 in the Deluxe Edition)
  • Two Extra Stages
  • Full access to planned content for 2023 /2024
