Street Fighter 6 introduces their new characters; Kimberly and Juri and we are here for it!

With little to go on back in February but a release of their logo, Street Fighter 6 has just created a buzz as a promising duo of femme fatale takes the spotlight for the latest game update. Giving the recent EVO a kick, Capcom announced their recent addition to the much-awaited Street Fighter 6 roster; Kimberly, the spunky new ninja, and Juri, the sadistic thrill-seeker.
Just to give a small history of one of the most iconic franchises in video game history, Street Fighter was first released in 1987, with their most recent addition, Street Fighter V, in 2016. The game has been known not just to boast a striking line of characters but a powerful storyline that is able to pose a certain sense of continuity to their plot.
The new characters look like they have specials that synchronize perfectly to the persona they each portray.

Kimberly is an African-American with a colorful aesthetic that seems to exude elements of the ’80s pop culture. The video shows her sporting a portable cassette player (if you don’t know what that is, ask your dad). Her specials also look like splashes of colors, making it look like she could leap out of your screen.
If you have followed the franchise before, you will know that Juri has been part of the roster since Street Fighter 4. With streaks of pink and black, the sadistic thrill-seeker is back for more blood. Her introduction shows her riding a motorcycle in a seeming cyberpunk(ish) narrative. Her moves appear to be almost the same as before. However, fans of the character will notice something new, her hairstyle has been updated to complete her sinister look.
Street Fighter 6 will be available on Playstation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. It is set to be released sometime in 2023.
